Past, present & future - homework help?

Question

1. Janna used her computer to write the story.
2. Urg paid for the raw dino meat with four rocks.
3. Ena toasted her grilled cheese sandwich on the stove.
4. Paolo loved his virtual reality novel. He could actually smell and feel the terrain of Yerba, Mars.


5. Galia pulled her furs closer. The sun's first rays would soon wake the family.

I need to know what tense the sentences are taking place.....past, present or future. Here are the examples on the worksheet:
Future: Willow rode the rocket to Jupiter.
Past: Willow rode the stagecoach to New Mexico.
Present: Willow rode in the van to the store.

If some of the words end up with the suffix "ed" then it's past...for example the first one is Past because it says "used" in the sentence...but some sentences don't have the "ed" suffix and can still be Past. It's easy, use common sense. Good luck :)
