Illinois recently passed a law FORBIDDING employers to enter the voluntary social security number check program for employees, as the Feds were talking about implementing the program as a requirement. The feds are suing Illinois over this. This is the first thing I've seen that suggests to me they might be serious about any enforcement at all.

What do you think?

if you stand up to watch your soccer match, you might get a better view.
if everyone stands up, everyone's at best, going to be more tired and some will be worst off.

if i dont vote or thumbs up/down or star a question, someone else's going to do it.
but, if everyone wont do it, no one's going to do it.

so please, vote / thumbs up/down / star a question now!

ps- if you do so for questions that deserve it, you're being effective. if you do so for every question, it's back to square one. be very careful about the fallacy of composition! its after all, the only formal fallacy i read of in my textbook(and yes fallacy isnt a new topic to me due to my weird interest in logic and fallacies), so i suppose it must be important! heh, maybe not, but well.

I do. I can see how people like ribs and burgers and even chicken but hot dogs? They taste like crap. I don't know what's more disgusting hot dogs or deer meat which dear meat should still be banned from the US even though they say deer's are over populated in the US. Anyyways I just can't see how people can like it but if you do I guess it's cool...

When I go to see a symphony concert performed at the tabernacle on Temple square, the mormons want to look in my purse for weapons, why is this. They do not take my purse and search it, but ask me to look in my purse. The general authprities are not at these concerts, so I am not sure why they must see my purse for weapons and we are not at the airport either, so why is it a policy to look for weapons???

some spcial vehicles have spinning disks to store energy whil they roll downhill. they use that stored energy to lift themselves uphill late on. their flywheels have relatively small rotational masses but spin at enormous angular sppes. how would a flywheel's kinetic energy change if its rational mass were FIVE times larger bit its angular speed were FIVE times smaller?

ok, so my bf and i live together. we put all our money together. long story short. i had left my purse in the livingroom and had all the money. when i check i was missing money i then asked if he new where it went and he lied and said no i know he took it. i just wonder why he didn't ask for it i would never say no. NEW YORK (Reuters) - Vilified as a Holocaust denier, a supporter of terrorism and a backer of Iraqi insurgents, the president of Iran was actually able to make New Yorkers burst into laughter -- but not at a joke.

"In Iran we don't have homosexuals like in your country," Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said at Columbia University on Monday in response to a question about the recent execution of two gay men there.

"In Iran we do not have this phenomenon," he continued. "I do not know who has told you we have it."

Loud laughs and boos broke from the audience of about 700 people, mostly students at the Ivy League school whose garb included "Stop Ahmadinejad's Evil" T-shirts.

Everyone from presidential candidates to September 11 families had expressed outrage that Ahmadinejad would speak there.
