There is no way to drive it out.

Why would you want to?

How much of vedanta do you know? Are you an authority on it or something? Actually it's quite evident that your knowledge is nil on the subject ,which is why you are asking such baseless questions. Probably to get some strong reactions from people. But this forum is not meant for that.Vedanta or philosophy is the very essence of Indian culture . The doctrine has sucessfully been accepted thru' centuries and centuries all over the world. Who are we to drive out what has been embedded in every speck of the Indian Soil?

'Vedanta' --means ultimate knowledge; only those who don't understand the meaning & value of Vedanta will make a comment like this. It is like pulling out the foundation of a deep rooted culture. No one has authority to talk against Vedanta. There are so many evils in society for you to eradicate .better concentrate in that.

Veda means knowledge. Antha means 'end point' or zenith.
Vedantha means 'zenith of knowledge'.

Vedanta of Hinduism is unique. Very rarely some
mild traces of those concepts are found in other
ancient cultures. Just because you do not
understand Vedantha properly, you are not supposed
make such rude comments. Meeting basic
instincts of survival is animalistic life. It is Vedantha
which speaks of zenith of intellectual thinking.
Even if you hate it at present, you are likely to
develop some interest in it after your age of
40 years.

Learning about such highest quests of humanity
is never a direct approach for any person. One
has to go through cycles of wavering, like those
of light and darkness, before your consciousness
awakens to learn higher concepts.

Friend,

It is the Blood ond soul of every Hindu. You can never ,NEVER drive out.The more you try , it comes with double the power. One has to submit to it one day or other.

If you are not a HINDU , do not entertain and interfere in it.
We HINDUS know how to handle it, the value osf it.because you never understand even the basics of this astounding and amazing VEDANTA OF INDIA (which no religion has )...you will be really frustrated. It needs some discipline both mental and bodily to understand it.
So if you do not understand it KEEP OUT OF IT PLEASE.

Just because you donot understand and appreciate it it willnever lose its WORTH.You too will have to come to it one day for solutions , if you are a really rational person. It,THE HINDU VEDANTA gives all answers to all questions ...ALL QUESTIONS.
