We live in NC eastern Piedmont (central)
This trail area a few weeks ago had posted copperhead sightings but this one wasn't copper colored and the large triangles were distinct. It was about 2 feet and not so wide or skinny. It just lay still in the path with it's head a little raised. We slowly walked behind it to pass it and it just lay still.
I wanted to get closer to study the shape of it's head but I didn't want to push my luck since I was with 2 5yr old girls. I haven't been able to identify it yet - any ideas? TIA!

This means enter whatever you want in the school section. There should be a code somewhere that has schools & you just replace what's there (what school information) with whatever you want. Much like the way people make custom details sections; such as where it says status etc... They replace it with whatever they choose.

In those college rankings, the same colleges are always at the top of the list (Harvard, Princeton, Yale, Stanford, MIT, etc...) When I looked a little closer at the stats, it seems that the greatest factor was endowment size. The smaller your school's endowment, the lower it likely was. I had some great professors at my school, which was a quality state university. Some of them had their degrees from Harvard, and some from lesser known places. Just because they went to Harvard, didn't mean they were the best. In fact, those professors I thought weren't quite as good. So is it just the size of the endowment that determines those rankings?

We ended on a bad note, I found out he was getting married and I had no idea. I knew him and I knew he was not ready for that type of commitment. It wasnt two weeks later and he was calling me again. I knew I could not see him anymore. It has been almost 3 years since hes been married and I still love this man even though I dont even talk to him. I can still feel him in my bones and I have really tried going forward but I am still stuck at square one with no progress. Now I just found out that he is in jail and I want to contact him. It has been so hard to be patient and think it out. I just want him to know that I really did love him and I still do and Im here for him. I know that this sounds open and shut but my my feelings wont go away. I need someone to give me some guidance. I cant talk to my best friend about him b/c she thinks he is such a loser for what he did to me. But my heart is real and I dont know what to do I want contact him what should I do?

My son is a senior in high school and is on a wayward path. He recently got arrested for possession of marijuana, he recently skipped school to avoid a test, and has not filled out his college applications yet.

I have tried to counsel him on the errors of his ways, but to no avail. I pray on the issue. I want to make sure he is safe, but at the same time I believe he needs to own is decisions. I can not protect him from misguided decisions for ever.

What is a dad to do?

I know that she was not actually queen of England but merely her tribe, but I believe that she was a very courageous lady of her time. I feel that we hear about lots of things in the past and not enough about her. East Anglia UK has a special bond with her!

On 3-9-07 I had some septic tank work done for $1200. I had new field lines run and the whole works. We still have sewer coming up in the yard in three different places. I have contacted the company numerous time but still haven't got them to fix it. I have my receipt and also a one year warrant y on parts and labor on the receipt. What should be my next step?

shouldn't science and scientific theory be restricted to things which obey the laws of laws of science? if you wanna believe that there is a god and he made the universe by just saying so, that's fine. but under what law or theory of science does that belief fall under? if your claim is that god is not bound by the laws of physics and science shouldn't we leave him out of scientific discussions altogether?
