Human Resources is a subfield of business interested in maximizing the human capital of an organization. They are generally responsible for hiring, firing, pay and benefits, training, and organizational development.

It has nothing to do with the environment.

No, Human Resources has nothing to do with the environment. A company's Human Resources department deals with keeping all the employee's information, hiring people, etc.

Human Resources is usually a department in an company that deals with all personnel issues, ie hiring and firing, posting, and matching talent with occupations, etc. It has nothing to do with natural resources.

Human Resources is the department that deals with payroll and other staffing needs....often they are the ones who conduct the interviews and hire staff as well though not always.
