"Lucifer" means "light bringer." It has nothing to do with morning or stars. What you are talking about is the fact that "Lucifer" is described as "Son of the Morning," and refers to the "morning star." But don't let that bother you - "Lucifer" never had anything to do with the devil in the first place.

If you are going to ask these questions that's cool. I do wish you would at least look them up in the Bible though.

Isa 14:12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! [how] art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

Rev 22:16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, [and] the bright and morning star.

Lucifer is fallen. He is no longer the Morning Star. Jesus is.

Hope that helps. †

How long has it been since you read Elmer Gantry? Well, that's too long! Read and find out about the morning and the evening star.

Honey, it's really ok if you don't want to be a Christian. But please stop demeaning those who believe differently than you. It's VERY unbecoming!

And if you're going to quote from God's Word, then QUOTE, don't MISSquote!

God bless!
