Because they're really inconsiderate! I worked in retail for years and found it soOoO annoying! When I go shopping now I find myself 'tidying' up. I always clear my own table when I've been to a cafe too. Most of the people who work in these places are only on the minimum wage and deserve a bit of a break :)

Because people are ignorant and lazy and only think of themselves!
You should see what they do to servers in restaurants!!! OMG! People drive me nuts! They let their kids throw food all over the floor and then stomp spaghetti into the carpet. They treat me like I'm stupid and run me to death! Like if one person asks for a refill on a busy night, why doesn't their dining partner ask you then and there rather than waiting for you to come back and then send you to the drink station AGAIN??? I've started to just ask them before they decide to run me or just get it for them anyway when I see their drink getting low.
People are so horrible. Not all of them, but A LOT.
Just remember that it must suck to be them cause people who don't think of others can't have any good friends or a decent life you know?

It's because they have no consideration for the employees of the stores where they shop or for the other shoppers. They take for granted the fact that someone else is going to clean up their messes.

yeah its annoying especially if your working at PRIMARK in oxford circus branch. the place becomes so messy and taff for those who work. the thing is some of us are just not bothered.

Because it is our job to buy the clothes. We sort through what your store has to offer and we select what we want. It is not our job to refold and straighten as we go. It is yours. That what you get paid to do.
