OK, so I want to get a present of a girl - a ring which she showed me a while back. But I don't know her ring size... so what would be a good way to get it without her suspecting anything? Since I want this to be a suprise =]

Just asking cause from what I understand, there are 1.2 Billion Muslims around the world and I am sure not all of them follow Osama Bin Laden. Unless if you want to believe that!

Ahmadi Nejad (Iranian President) is keeping saying that we need nuclear energy and not thinking about making nuclear weapons. Do you think he is lying?

Isn't it time that we stopped making the unquestionable and unstinting supprt of Israel the chief objective of our policy in the middle east?
The state of Israel has the right to its existence. They have a right to defend that existence and a right to seek help and alliances to protect themselves.
But I object to the protection of Israel being the cornerstone
for our foreign policy in that area of the world.
Many of the Arab and Iranian aspirations are legitimate and we would have done the world -and first and foremost ourselves! - a big favour if we had considered those aspirations pragmatically and objectively, with OUR best interests in mind and not Israel's.
We have alienated a whole people (who just happen to sit on some of the most valuable real estate in terms of energy supply on the whole planet) and have violated many of the precepts and values we hold most dear and most American just to back a foreign country.
Please, your thoughts?racial slurs and name calling not welcome

This happened at a St. Paul hotel MN USA. The man was a government offical there for business reasons.

The hotel's spacious lobby atrium features an ornamental pond that at one point contained eight domesticated ducks. Shortly before 2:35 a.m., Scott D. Clark, who had told hotel employees he was in town on business, chased a duck across the area and cornered it, according to St. Paul police Sgt. John Wuorinen.
"He was allegedly drunk," Wuorinen said Saturday as he read a police report of the incident.
As a hotel security guard and others watched, Clark grabbed the bird and "ripped its head from its body," the police report said.
Clark turned to onlookers and said: "I'm hungry. I'm gonna eat it," said Wuorinen, quoting from the report.
Security guards detained Clark until police arrived. He spent Saturday night in the Ramsey County Jail on suspicion of felony cruelty to animal and was scheduled to appear before a judge Monday morning

I'm concerned about my friends baby. Since birth, I have held many concerns for the baby but every time someone has tried suggesting things the mum gets upset and the dad has let most decisions be made by the mum (in regards to feeding, sleeping and bathing routines). Both mum and dad visited my not long ago and the baby is now 13 months old. She is probably 9kgs (is this small?) and seemed so small. yes she comes from a petite father but she seems so small for her age and doesnt eat much. Her mum fed her vegetables (beans, carrot and brocolli steamed) and half the time she chucked it. porriage for breakfast, sometimes a banana or a piece of bread here and there and probably 1 jar of baby food a day (if that). and only drinks water and maybe one breast feed a day. this doesnt seem right for a growing toddler who is really active!! i'm not a mum yet so dont want to judge but i'm concerned. also i may be fussy but i plan on bathing my own kids daily, even twice daily yet this kid..TBC

Hey there,
firstly I guess I better start by saying, yes.....I'm ANOTHER one of those people looking to get into acting, but instead of negating myself, I'm just gonna cut to the chase.

I'm now 21, but I still look pretty young. Also I'm not very tall (about 5 ft 6), so hopefully that will help me. I Live in Sydney. Looking to get into acting. I don't care about being famous! If it happens, it happens...if not, well, it doesn't. I've had a bit off acting experience, I was with a theatre company for a few yrs. I also danced from when I was 8 for about 10 yrs. I'm looking into joining another theatre group if I can. Should I start looking for a reliable agency? If so where would I look for one in Sydney? I'm pretty new to this so any help would be appreciated. Also, would it be too much of a jump to move to Los Angeles and start looking there? Or should I wait? Because in all honesty, L.A is inevitably where it all happens.
Thanks.

I am trying to find boys and girls names that are different without being odd or out of this world, a name that cannot be shortened (I am not a fan of Benjamin, Matthew, etc) and something that doesn't end in 'an', 'en', 'on' or 'in' (our son ends in 'an'). A name that has a meaning related to water would be a bonus. Our surname is Kennedy too.

What tools would be required? About how long would it take someone who's swapped a motor before? Are there any step by step guides out there that I'm unaware of? I have a rod knock in my motor and am trying to save myself a grand and pull the motor myself to have it fixed. I've pulled and swapped a motor from a Nissan 240sx before and swapped clutches. What should I expect? Any tips?

Okay, I'm driving along and suddenly encounter a queue of about 6-7 cars travelling at just under 15 mph. I then pass the obstacle- a cyclist, who has refused to pull over to let the lorry immediately behind him overtake. The lorry couldn't get past because it was narrow and there was oncoming traffic.
Since there was a place to pull in, and cyclists shouldn't even be on A roads at all, let alone in the rush hour, I hoot. To this, the response, is the dirty old man sticks his middle finger up. I give this lowlife a dirty look, to which he bellows a couple of f's and c's before I'm out of earshot. The middle finger is also held up until I'm well out of eyesight.
What's worse is my parents are in the car, and my mum was particularly upset by this man's behaviour as she is very sensitive to that kind of thing.
