They can only verify what you made on Payroll.. example, if you get a W2, and they took out taxes, then yes, that is verifiable employment, and should be included. Under the table... thats bad, cause you did not pay into social security, or pay your share of taxes... and the end result, is the work you did is NOT verifiable.
Working under the table is illegal, and hurts everyone in this country....

Depends on the employer. Having a hole in your record will have to be explained also. Perhaps the best choice would be to report the kind of employment you did, but say that the people who knew you there are no longer there or the business has changed owners. Since I have had several jobs where I was paid properly but exactly those circumstances apply so I can't get references.

What 'employment record'? You are submitting your 'employment record'. If you can back up the fact that you were working, then include it. I'm not sure what you mean by 'under the table', but as long as you provide a phone number of a reference who will vouch for you, it's fine.

first off, you do a 1099 income tax when u work for yourself so not to get into trouble. it is not a good idea as other people may think it will hurt you in the long run. yet experience is just that use it.

I would say that you worked independently....for a private party. No need to go into detail. And you're not lying. It's still work experience.

I wouldn't mention this unless it was significant as experience to the position applied for. Then you can say something like you volunteered there.
