The only Jewish ritual I can think of that involves taking off your shoes is the Bircas Kohanim (Priestly Blessing). The Temple priests used to perform the service barefoot, so their descendants do likewise when they give the blessing.

Other than that, we wear our shoes the same way as everyone else.

Micheal M, that's hilarious.

Um...yes. Like normal people, we usually take them off right when we get in the house, because shoes are dirty. But this isn't a Jewish thing. This is a people thing. We don't take our shoes off in the synagogue to pray, though. We don't have prayer mats or anything.

Peace

If you mean "Do Jewish people take off their shoes before entering a Synagogue (their place of worship)? No, they do not. Muslims do when they enter a Mosque.
However Jewish men have to wear something on their head when entering a Synagogue.

Nope never. when a jewish baby is born they put 2 ceremonial shoes on him/ her called TAFDAD these shoes never come off but are worn until the feet grow so much the shoes rip at which point the 2nd set of ceremonial shoes called DRAFDRAD are then applied, this goes on until the Jewish child reaches young adulthood at which time the final set of ceremonial shoes (KRAFDAD) are then sown on his/her feet by a Rabbi, then the feet are cured in salt, and blessed, and after that they kill a pigeon.

???

Where, when, why, how.......?!

Jews wear shoes just like everyone else does.....there are no special laws requiring us to take off our shoes at any time except for certain special holidays which I'm not going to get into right now.

If you MUST know, however, then contact me though Yahoo!
