I for one are sick of seeing fundies pentecostals and evangelicals presume if you post a question critical of religious fanaticism that you're not a Christian posting and using their answers to post a long unnecesssary sermon on how to "accept the lord" which usually has nothing to do with the ACTUAL topic!

Do these people have poor levels of reading comprehension or what?

Why do they mistake ranting for spiritual inspiration?

and then there's the whole all pagans are evil demon worshippers nonsense!

Anyone care to add to the list?

I have a friend who has a seven year old son and they wanted to put him on meds because he pulled a girls' hair, kicked another girl when she called him a baby, and tore some girls notebook... I told him not to sign the diagnosis papers no matter what. The doctors and school officials were totally mad he would "refuse to act in his sons interests" but I was proud he saved his child from those b..ches. When boys are just being boys, women go... oh he's antisocial, he's a predator! Dont you think they are overreacting and hurting our boys?

Hi I was born in America but I am Norwegian. I learned Norwegian from my mother and am fluent in it, but obviously, learning from her, I don't know how to cuss at anyone in Norwegian. I am in the military and married. My wife is currently living in another country. I filed all the necessary paperwork to get her here to the U.S. but it has been almost a year now. We have an almost 3 year daughter together and she is here with me. As of late my wife has been ignoring my e-mails, taking all of my paycheck leaving me with almost nothing to take care of our daughter and myself. I am leaving for 6 to 9 months in November and my family has agreed to take care of my daughter for that time period. I can't live like this any more. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I would go about filing for divorce even though my wife lives in another country? Thanks!

God's teachings with the Aide of the Holy Spirit?

I was Raised as a Jehovah's Witness where I was comanded to follow Watchtower theology completely and without questioning...

Now, I have some issues that I am not completely sure of, and I can go, by my self into God's word, and read and understand what God wants me to know. I do not have to believe what has not been absolutely proven to me by
God's word..
also..
There are things that I am not 100% sure of, and it is OK!

Since you have absolutely not one shred of empirical evidence of your God's existence, you can only "imagine" it. Your Bible has been PROVEN time and again to be nothing more than copy from more ancient, older religions. The only "inspiration" used were the deletions, insertions and other forms of editing in an effort to make it more believable to the masses. You cannot deny these facts if you have any honesty about you.

I was inspired by a white and black wedding cake with red roses seen here:

And decided to use these colors for my wedding. I know I don’t want a tradition wedding. In replace of tull, flowers and other boring material used I want to use feathers, mirrors and beads. The typical just wont do so I really need help coming up with unique ideas. Just to give you an idea: for place cards I found theses really cool ball and chains and painted numbers on them attached is a card with the person name on it. PLEASE HELP ME no idea is to far out the box. thanks :)
