Hi, My son has come home with his first lot of maths homework and I dont have a clue as to what it is all about!!! I have never heard of a empty number line and his instructions say 'draw the number line' 'put largest number at end of line' 'partition other number' and then jump tens then units????
his sums are:
45+18
27+65
57+12
25+43
Can anyone pleaseeeee advise on how I do this as I need to know before I can teach him!!

im 15 and im really down atm and im not sure why but i cant cope some days i contemplate ending it and stuff i had councelling for a bit but it didnt help i dont really hav anyone to talk to about it as i recently lost contact with my best friend as i dont fit into his life anymore and i dont feel comfortable talking to anyone else about it i was wandering if i could get meds or something and if i can how can i go about it i feel like ive tried everything else and i just keep going round in a circle

Is the minimum wage (as set by the federal government) unconstitutional? I can't find the worlds "MInimum Wage" in it, and it would therefore be prohibited by the 10th Amendment. Please don't patronize me with the general welfare argument, because it does not benefit the general welfare, it benefits (if that's how you want to see it) the welfare of a minority of the population. Also, should the government tell private businesses how they should be run? Please answer the question directly.

I'm wondering if I can go out and buy another WRT54G router and hook it up in an adjacent room as a bridge to extend my wireless connection. I know there are range extenders and other things of the such out there, but I want to do this with these routers if possible. (They are cheap here!)

I ask this question sincerely, and do not by any means intend to offend anyone or to sound sarcastic.

That being said, I realize that it is a sensative issue by refering to people with this kind of disability period. To retard is define as to slow, and people with retardation are by nature slowed, albeit not by their own choice. To give a flowery name is not helping the person with retardation, and in a sense does them a diservice by refering to them by non-specific names, as their needs cannon be readily identified through indirect human interaction.

So, what's the big deal? I have a cousin with retardation, and I'm not ashamed of her. As long as the word is not used in a derrogatory sense, what is the big deal?

Excersize and diet arent working for me, i'm about 40 lbs overweight, and i was 30 lbs overweight two months ago. I dont want this to continue into obesity, so i want to ask my mom for lipo. Are there disadvantages to lipo? Are these "fat marks" i've heard about that bad?

As I was driving all of a sudden the engine sputters and the check engine light comes on. Now everytime the rpms get to about 2,700 to 3,000 rpms the engine would sputter and slightly hesitate. I am afraid to bring the engine above 2,700 rpms.

What gives either side a right to dictate other peoples morality? I heard an interesting statement a while back that led me to think about a lot of different aspects of our government. The Republicans want my porn and the Democrats want my guns. To me it is pretty simple, if you don't porn, don't buy it. Don't like guns don't buy them. You will never keep guns away from criminals so no matter what laws you pass you won't stop violent crime. Don't believe in abortion don't have one. Isn't it pretty simple? I think the our nation would get along a lot better if everyone minded their own business first and stay out of their neighbors.
