It will not be the "main" source of heat, but more for atmosphere, with a flat screen TV above it in the living room area. What advantages of vent or non-vent are there? If vented it would need to be a rear, or back vent, not vertical......blower is optional. Fuel will be propane....House is 2-story with basement - around 2,400 squ. ft. but logs would not be to heat all that....thanks for any and all info - there are so many options.......we live in mountains of western NC, but winters are not bitter terrible bad lately.

An "out of area" caller calls our house everyday, at least 2 times a day, And when we pick it up they hang up on us. This has been going on for a couple of months. One time I answered and said nothing, then it was a guy who said hello three times. We don't want to change our #. Is their anyway to find out who this person is? Or can we put a stop to this?

However I am concerned about many of the things I hear about the town. It's old scool goodol' boy attitude and it being mostly retirees and I have heard this from more than one different resource. I have also heard it is pretty expensive to live there and that you cannot find a nice home in a nice area for under 300,000 dollars ( we have children so this is important to us.) can anyone give some advice or information on this area. thanks!

I've had people tell me that going barefoot is actually a lot better for a person, because the body learns to naturally balance itself out to the person's need and align things somehow. There was one shoe store, for example, that had a story about how people in Africa rarely have back, legs, or arthritis pain because a lot of them go barefoot(Of course, the store carried the shoes that were specially designed to give one all the benefits of going barefoot) . My homeroom teacher who runs a couple miles each morning(without shoes) claims to not have any of these problems either and it made him more aware of his surroundings as well as how his body functions.

However, today in class I had a classmate of mine(Now he is a very educated guy not someone who pretends or thinks he knows everything) told me that going barefoot can lead one to developing flat feet because the foot has no support. I did not press him further because I had to leave, but became curious. Is this true?

Ok let say i want to buy a stock option, and the stock currently at 43.50... I want to buy a call option on this stock and i think it will go up, so would it be smarter to buy it at the strike price 40.00 or 42.50....the break even price for the 40 is 43.80 and the break even price for the 42.5 is 44.30.

Now im only buying this stock for the short term, considering stock options expire this friday im only going to hang on to it for this week, im just confused with the fact of the "break even price" Because i want to buy it at the 42.5 stike because its a lot cheaper than the 40.0...wouldn't i make more if i buy it at 42.5? even though the break even pricce is higher?

Or what is the stock goes up to 44.00 even, would i still make money on the 42.5 strike, because the stock went up but it didnt reach its break even price

so I got a thing in the mail about a check that bounced. What is the next step in what I need to do? The bank already collected a fee and I deposited money in it .I made an error in my ledger. Do i have to go to the place that the check bounced at? i want to get it cleared before anything more happens.

I have a co-worker who recently transferred into our office. She talks nonstop, is loud, and abnoxious. She's seriously overweight and has offensive body odor at times. She comes to work early in the morning covered in cat hair (from her 5 indoor cats), and with dirt under her nails. It's difficult to even say hello to her, because she turns it into a full length conversation. So what is my problem? Her daughter is coming to visit from out of state. She is having a "meet and greet" my daughter party in her home. She will be serving a light dinner and drinks. I don't particularly care for this woman, but I know she has no friends, she has expressed that she is very lonely here and her only invitations are to co-workers. I think she is probably a good person, and I feel sorry for her, and I would feel bad if no one goes. But I could never eat anything in her home because I know she is unclean. Nor could I tolerate a full evening with her. Any suggestions???
