Tony Blair is the best Prime Minister there has been in Britain in living memory. Unlikely as it sounds he was the most honest, and he always tried to meet the promises he made during his election campaigns. Certainly the working people of Britain benefited from reforms to the biased employment laws.

Greybeard is right on target Winston Churchill, and I would include Harry Truman, Ronald Regan, and FDR. Winston Churchill is one of top five greatest human beings of the 20th century. In my book he and MLK of all time. If he didn't keep the UK fighting the Nazi's the world would be a very scary place. Martin Luther King built on that sacrifice. There is simply no more greatness.

I would have to say Bill Clinton. He was a great leader but sadly everyone remembers him for his sexual scandal instead of all the good things.
