If women had not faught for womens's rights do youthink the cost of living would be lower?

Because honestly if men were the sole income they'd get paid more and in my opinion things wouldn't be so expensive. But now that women work they charge more for everything because there is two incomes. riiight??

Your right, if they had not come into the work place all the new regulations which cost a fortune would not of happened....gotta have safety shoes, goggles, certain cloths, insurance costs went up. baby sitting service, better meals at work, transportation, human resources, complaint dept., harassment charges, higher devorce rates, alimony just to name a few....bring back the fiftys..

That's a part of the puzzel we just didn't think of when we were fighting for these rights. We were thinking of women left with children from men who had died and the sexual revolution and just simply walking out coz they couldn't handle it. We didn't see the grand scheme of the plan of making it impossible to survive unless you had 2 incomes. One of those things I mentioned earlier that backfired in our faces when it wasn't what we intended or thought it would go those extreems.

Young dreams vs reality. You may just get what you want and then you have to deal with the fall out. It doesn't always end up like you thought it would.

Things would have been based on a 1-income-standard, so I guess so. When women did work, it was just to supplement their husbands income. Good question.

Why don't you go to Saudi Arabia, if women show there hair they are arrested by the Religious police ;literally. If your husband dies you starve unless your brother-in-law or some other related man takes care of you....yeah you'd love it there........I hear you can get a good deal on a hi jab, it covers all but your eye's......
