Is that OK with you? Now the US owes China a few hundred billion while the infrastructure in the US is NOT going to be rebuilt. How do you feel about that while you pay taxes and own just about NOTHING? Have you paid for that car, home,etc. yet?

I was shopping for my moms B-Day present at Macy's. I was at the perfume counter smelling Vera Wang, Chanel, etc. The sales lady (Caucasian) asked if she could help me..I replied, "No not at this moment...Thank you!"

I turned my head and when I looked back she was still looking at me smiling. I smiled back...and she said we have sets of Mariah Carey, Sean John, and Usher cologne and perfume.

I mean just because I'm a minority I have to like urban things. I was offended and pissed off. I don't even wear that. I waited to see if any other "non-minority" customers came over to see if the sales associate would tell them the same thing. But no one didn't..so I left the store.

Should I be offended or am I over reacting?

When I was out with my doggies this afternoon I passed a woman with two small children. They weren't keeping up with her so she told the to hurry up, then said "There's a doggy, hurry up or it will get you" and her children ran after her, screaming. Why are some parents so ignorant that they feel this kind of comment is a good idea? She'll end up with children who are obsessively paranoid about dogs. Am I over-reacting, or was that a very ignorant thing for the woman to do?

the distance between A and B is 100 km .
B is east of A.
2 vehicles start travelling at the same time,one from A and the other from B.
Both go east.
they meet after 10 hours.
the vehicle that started from B goes 4 km in (t+2 minutes) time when the vehicle started at A goes 4 km in t time.
what are the speeds of the 2 vehicles?


I got this:

4=(x+10)*(4/x+2/60)
the answer should be
4=(x+10)*(4/x-2/60)

this is the equation for B so why do I subtruct 2 minutes and not add them?

I am 25 a male, and have had some college credits, and I have done pretty good at the ASVAB, I was wondering if anyone knows of any jobs that will allow me to be on shore most of the time? I have a 2 year old daughter and would like to spend time with her. My girlfriend has a uncle in the Navy and he was served for 14 years and he has a job where he goes home every day like a regular 9-5 job. so does anyone know of any shore duty jobs?

this just doesn't seem like the work of someone who is fair and just and loving. take for example the offspring of an incestuous relationship. children are more likely to be born with health defects than those whose parents are not related. also consider crack babies. they're born addicted to crack. or how about babies born with aids? why didn't god design us to be born without these burdens? shouldn't the punishment lie with the parents of these babies and not the babies? can you honestly say this is fair? how in your right mind can you justify this as being fair? seriously. especially when you consider that all sin is equal in god's eyes. these babies should be punished no more than if they were born with parents whose only sins were thoughts of lust and the occasional breaking of the sabbath. yet, because their parents sinned in such a way, they have to carry that burden with them for the rest of their lives.

My partner and I have so many friends and family. We were having a discussion about who we wanted in our bridal/groom party. Traditionally ( or the norm) are people that are married or with children NOT asked to be apart of a wedding Party?

A very close relative of mine started to act extremely abusive the last few years, she curses a lot more than she used to, she insults her daughter very much and for no real reason, she is stressed and looks for solutions for problems that ... other people have. She is very concerned on the problems of her close ones, that she is stressing them very much, always find silly solutions, she is trying to force them or blackmail them into doing what she thinks is right (though all those problems should not affect her in any way at all). She gets mad out of the blue, one time when we were on the phone she started to get angry while she was telling me someting, she was just talking, i was listening and she would get more and more angry.

She is 61 years old, divorced and suffered from cancer 10 years ago (she is now healed). I had to mention because she had a hard life, so maybe all the stress she had leaded to this.

Does anybody know what her behaviour means? What could help her?
