What TYPE of pet did you own growing up?

We had cats until I was six. Never a dog until then because my mother said she didn't like them. Then we got one, and she loved it so much, so bought two more! We had lizards, hamsters, and hermit crabs too.

I had a lot of different pets growing up. Turtles, hamsters, cats, dogs, fish, birds, and even a horse.

A puppy when I was like 8. And then I went to an alley and left him them w/ the garbage man told him I didn't want him anymore. I told my mom he ran away. I am a horrible human being for that and I hope PETA isn't reading this question. The little creature was just driving me insane! :(

I had a cat it lived for 11 years. The best pet i ever had. I taught it to play touch tag. when i was sad it always came to me and curled up on my lap.

Over the course of my childhood I have had a 1 cat, 3 dogs, 1 bird, 1 guinea pig, 1 pot bellied pig, 1 goat, 1, hamster, 1 rat, 1 parakeet, Idk even how many fish, 1duck, about 5 rabbits, I think we had some chickens too.

i had my first dog, Newton, a Newfoundland until i was 12, almost 13, and we had gotten him when I was 1... im not 13, and Newton had to be put to sleep because his hips basically stopped working =( i still cry about it and he was put to sleep on March 14th =(

we just got another dog, though, like 16 days ago... haha... a Black Labrador Retriever named Bo...

and in like 3 weeks, we're getting a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppy!
