A lawyer runs a stop sign and gets pulled over by a sheriff's deputy.
He thinks that he is smarter than the deputy because he is a lawyer
from New York and is certain that he has a better education then any
cop from Texas. He decides to prove this to himself and have some fun
at the Texas deputy's expense!

Deputy says," License and registration, please."
Lawyer says, "What for?"
Deputy says, "You didn't come to a complete stop at the stop sign."

Lawyer says, "I slowed down, and no one was coming."
Deputy says, "You still didn't come to a complete stop. License and
registration, please."

Lawyer says, "What's the difference?"
Deputy says, "The difference is, you have to come to complete stop,
that's the law. License and registration, please!"

Lawyer says, "If you can show me the legal difference between slow
down and stop, I'll give you my license and registration; and you give

me the ticket. If not, you let me go and don't give me the ticket."
Deputy says, "Sounds fair. Exit your vehicle, sir."
The deputy takes out his nightstick and starts beating the ever-loving
**** out of the lawyer and says, "Do you want me to stop, or just slow
down?"

well my best friend of two years sent me an e-mail the other day and said he didn't wanna be best friends anymore because i was too annoying and pessamistic or somehtin..............i might remind you that i'm only pesamistic because i care about the lives of those around me................................when he said what he said my heart shattered and i was crying till no more tears came out.....now i've gone into depression mode..................the next day he was being all nice to me as if nothing happend.............so i was trying to go along with it............anyhoo he said we can still be friends just not as close..........now he doesn't even talk to me..........everyone is saying i need to let him go but i still love him...yes like that and as a friend................its killing me inside ..i haven't eaten for days.......................................i don't know what to do...............i keep asking God but, he is giving me a wait

true story. one day i found a twenty dollar bill stuck to the underside of a paper towel dispenser in a bathroom at a resturant. on the bill it said "do NOT turn this into the manager. use it yourself, but then remember to pay it forward as soon as you get it a chance." then it said (heart) JB. i thought it was differant and a unique way of paying it forward so i went out and bought a cd i had wanted but didnt have the money i for....a few months later an opportunity presented itself for me to pay it forward, i took $20 and donated it to a charity for cancer research, and i put the initals JB on the little thing they give you to sign.

thats the most recent time i have ever payed it forward. so have you payed it forward recently? if so, what did you do, and what inspired you to do it in the first place?

ok, so i have ALOT of discharge. and its a combo of like watery-liquid stuff and this sticky,chunky, kindof thick stuff. i dont think its a yeast infection because i dont get ichty or feel pain. itdoesnt go through my clothes but it does go through my underwear. is this normal and can i do anything about it?

Ok, I'm a single white 25 yr old heterosexual man. 4 weeks ago my friend introduced me 2 a friend of hers named Carrie. She just dumped her boyfriend & moved out of the apartment. But, we hit it off & a couple nights later we went 2 a concert w/ her friends. Then, 4 nights after that her & I hung out alone cus she asked me to & she said she wanted 2 get 2 no me more. Well we were vibing like crazy. We finallly kissed. So we went to my favorite pub 4 an entree & drinks & to 1 of her favorite bars 4 a few more 2 talk & get 2 no eachother better. Well none of us were lookin 4 a relationship, but that night, & 3 nights n a row after that, we had fantastic sex. 4 a week I didn't hear from her, but yesterday I got a txt message from her sayin that she still wants 2 hang out & the reason she didn't call was she needed a break. 2 weeks ago we were hangin out 6 days out of 14 days. Now I haven't seen her in 10 days. I sent her a txt mssge 2day saying hi but nothing. How should I proceed?

A little over a month ago, my best friend of 10 years moved in with my boyfriend and I. She decided that the north was not for her, she got approved for a transfer down south. I offered to let her stay here until she found a place to stay. I told her I didnt expect her to pay anything that would remain the same whether she was here or not. However water and electricity would not. Well she seems to have made her mark. She has talked about staying here until December until she goes to Mexico. She has made no contributions to any bills and has contributed about 80 dollars to food cost. She has decorated my guest room to her liking, and small things like that. She complains about what I have in my fridge...washes clothes whenever she feels like it....and leaves everything a mess...a dirty mess. I dont know if she's just "confortable" and feels that our life long friendship permits her to act this way...or is she just plain rude...I dont want to hurt our friendship in the least bit.

I've been craving to get my ears triple pierced for ages and my mum finally is allowing me. I don't have my ears pierced at all at the moment! I was wondering if its safe to have it done all at once or if I should have them one at a time? What would you recommend? Thanks! : )
