Trying to figure out how long I should allot for painting my interior.

I have an agreement with someone that we agreed to get notorized as a formal agreement. I drafted the agreement, he approved it via email and I went and signed two originals in front of a notary. I mailed it to him via certified mail. He is supposed to sign the two originals in front of a notary and mail one back to me. It has been several weeks, and despite my followups via phone and email, he has yet to mail me my original back with signature. Part of the agreement will come to pass in about a week. Am I liable to follow that agreement? He says he "lost" it, which I'm sure is just a bogus lie.
Does the fact that I never received my original back with signature play in my favor or is the fact that I signed it at all and it exists enough to bind me to it?

I'm kind of going through a tough 2-3 years. Hadn't had a good job, no real potential relationships, and can't find good friends. Now some people I talk to believe that it has to be me and something I'm doing wrong. I have looked over situations and I don't see how that is possible. I have been thinking of moving for the past few years do you think this is why I haven't had such good luck in anything. I did have an amazing job with a great part time job, lots of friends, and an amazing dates/boyfriend-then I lost both jobs (budget cuts/closing) and everything went after that. I was thinking about moving to tennessee then on tv that's all i heard about and the first person i met at my school was from tennessee...now i'm not thinking of moving there but charlotte, north carolina (cuz there is family)...Anyways I also have been finding pennies everywhere since my great grandmother died...do you think this is coincidence or really a sign that i should move? whats with the pennies?

were planning 2 get married on December 2008, but d problem is he's out of the country. he'll come back dis december to accomplish things dat we can do both on our wedding. is it ok to attend wedding seminar 1 year before the wedding? or 1 week before the wedding? tnx

This insanely irresponsible loan instrument had to have been conceived by at least one individual. Probably works at one of the big Wall Street firms. Whatever, this person(s) needs to be identified by name and made known to as many people as possible. Bonus points if the person(s) contact information is made publicly available.

she thinks I had an affair with her husband. I have known him for 7 years, and he bought me flowers for my b-day. We have the same b-day. I bought him a bottle of wine. My husband knew of all this also. Just a friendship bouquet. All done innocently. Now his wife found a receipt for the flowers and thinks I am having an affair.
She just wont stop digging into my personal life..ie..phones, email,my space.com, I notified the police in several cities.
They are tired of me calling and asking for help.
My husband even tried to stop all this nonsense.
We have never even talked to this woman at all.
Any suggestions? Thankfully, my marriage is strong enough to put up with all this b.s.

I interviewed with 1 other co-worker to a competiting company, i made it, he didnt. So word got out, at the same time, i took a 30 day leave of absence, my current employer called over to my future employer, (possibly planting bad seeds), inquiring to see if i was employed by them. They were hoping to see if i was working at a job while on a leave of absence, thus grounds for termination! I wasn't but am worried if my chances have been hurt at my future employer. Do i have grounds to make a complaint to anyone is my question about an overzealous manager?

I was with my bf for nearly 2 years. We broke up and he really humiliated me infront of his friends and lady friend since then he havent spoken.
