Can anyone throw some light on what happened to a place called Halder in Westmeath Ireland?

The name might have been changed, this happened to a lot of places in the early 1920s in Ireland after the Republic became independent. I think you should try the County Westmeath Archival office or a local historian.

Hi, I have searched the Web and even rang an Uncle of mine who lives in Westmeath and can find nothing, My Uncle has never heard of it.
