I don't. I'll probably get slammed for this, but I think people who gripe about how things were better in the "good 'ol days" are just old fuddy duddys who don't really remember how equally bad the "good old days" were. Sometimes it's just nostalgia for an age that never existed, or existed only on TV.

I remember as a kid being outside a lot from morning to night playing with all the neighborhood kids, playing games, riding my bicycle everywhere.
Now, everyone is inside playing video games usually by themselves.
Also, nowadays there are more rules and regulations, more restrictions, everything seems less free and more politically correct. It seems more of a nanny state, more videos watching us.
But the thing great about today is the technology, everyone has a cellphone, computers, digital movies and TV, etc.

Yes...
kids use to be kids and play..today video games, computers, and TV are a childs best friend. It is sad to see children addicted to it.
and adults were more layed back. Back then adults were not sucked into the whole money idea. Today everyone thinks about material objects that "make" them happy. Without the money and technology we would be closer as a nation and would appreciate more. Now we think it is givin and we "need" it even though we don't

MEEEEEEE!! even tho im onli 17(lol) last year was the best, so much fun, so many parties! then i got sick and cudnt go out for ages and basically missed my whole summer and now im going into the worst hardest year ever where u have to study all the time and im now not aloud excercise or do sports for d next few more months...i miss the old days sooooooooo much!

ME!!!!! These days that I am living now are just nonexistent and so cold and I just think how happy I was in the past and now I am just so sad and I know I shouldn't dwell on the pas but it is easier said then done.

me, because people were more polite, music was much more better and tecnology didn't took over people's lifes and jobs.
