I have a hard time in relationships, I have trust issues. The way I see life is that I don't go around trusting everyone, and I always know that somehow/someway I am going to be let down, and that way I dont get disappointed by telling myself this from the beginning. I dont believe that marriage is for me because I like my freedom, I can be an introvert at times and just want my own down time and be alone and in a marriage the partner can be upset if u keep distance. I dont believe that happiness=marriage, and I do believe that some people get married bc thats how they were taught at a young age. I do love children and would love to have a couple of my own. The only problem is, is it healthy to have children if your not married or dont plan on to be (but in a committed relationship)? Would it have any future effects on the children?

I have a potted orchid inside the house. I've never had one before, and I'm pritty nieve about the whole thing, but it's stem is starting to turn yellow, obviously dieing. I don't know if the stem is supposed to do this and then grow another stem next spring, or if my orchid is dieing. Please someone help me. It was a gift, and very precious to me. Thank You.

I was readin an article about Amy Winehouse and her husband and the fact that they are dope feinds and their families are fighting... it says:

Amy was in tears after the row during a showdown with their families over their heroin and cocaine addiction..

okay... what does row mean?

Yesterday morning I woke up and had a red mark on my neck, as the day progressed it got bigger and went up behind my ears and my face looks like I have sun burn and am very hot.

This freaked me out so I went to the docs this morn and after just looking at me he said I have something called "strep throat" and gave me some penicillin.
The thing is my throat doesn't hurt. Feels like I have a bit of a lump in it but that's it.

I did a bit of research on the net and nowhere seems to mention the redness...Does anyone know if this is actually a sympton of strep throat?

I feel totally drained and burning up!

If he is omnipotent, he is capable of turning evil.

If you are going to say "that would never happen" just save yourself the effort. This is hypothetical.

I hear people say things like "stay away from the occult", or "the occult is satanic". I am trying to figure out exactly how any religion can be considered to NOT be of the occult.

Primary definition of occult:
"of or pertaining to magic, astrology, or any system claiming use or knowledge of secret or supernatural powers or agencies."

Supernatural powers are part of EVERY religion, hence the God or Gods.

I have never heard of this as a form of punishment. I thought time-out was the norm. Is the that still acceptable in some schools? If not, what should I do?

It starts to convert so slowly ( it says 9 hours on the screen) & my Computer virtually comes to a standstill. So much so I had to erase it. Could you please explain to me why this is so. there is a scumbag family that live near me who terrorise the estate. the kids boys and girls aged 8-15 have got to be the most horrible racist, theiving, nasty, drug taking ugly slime faced bullies i have ever met. anyway i had to go to my local neighbour office to complain as my hubby was on the verge of 'sorting' the lads out himself and he would have got himself in trouble. anyway someone from the local housing office has since contacted me asking me to go to court to stand up against them with others who have complained about them over the years. what would you do? if i dont there may not be enough evidence to get them removed from the area and if i do and they still dont get removed then what?

My fiance and I have been together for 4 years. I love him, and we have had some really good times, as well as some really rough times. Right before he proposed to me, I was considering breaking up with him because I felt like our relationship was not moving forward, we were fighting a lot, and I was developing feelings for another guy. The proposal caught me completely off guard, and I said "yes" because it is what I had wanted for so long.

Since then I have not been entirely sure I want to marry him for various reasons, including the fact that my parents don't want me to! But I feel like my main problem is the feelings I still have for the other guy. I don't think the other guy would ever commit to me so is it worth breaking off an engagement to a great guy for someone I would probably never really have? I don't know what to do, but we are supposed to get married in 2 months!

A girl was a prostitute, but she didn't want her grandma to know. One day, the police raided a whole group of prostitutes at a sex party in a hotel and the girl was among them. The police took them outside and had all the prostitutes line up along the driveway when suddenly, the girl's grandma came by and saw her granddaughter. Grandma asked, "Why are you standing in line here, dear?" Not willing to let her grandmother know the truth, the girl told her grandmother that the policemen were there passing out free oranges and she was just lining up for some."Why, that's awfully nice of them. I think I'll get some for myself," and she proceeded to the back of the line. A policeman was going down the line asking for information from all of the prostitutes. When he got to Grandma, he was bewilderedand exclaimed, "Wow, still going at it at your age? How do you do it?" Grandma replied, "Oh, it's easy, dear. I just take my dentures out and suck them dry."

I currently have Washington Mutual, but they have dropped a lot of the bonuses that attracted me to it in the first place.
I want to change to a bank that offers me overdraft protection and WAMU no longer does that or offers any loan or credit programs.
Any better banks out there?
