Why won't my MP3 Player hold all the songs I sync onto it?

Ok, so say I Sync like 30 songs, then my MP3 says like "1 of 21" for the number of songs! help!

they might be too large to all fit on your player.
try to find them in a smaller file size. or format them differently
that's the prob my moms mp3 player had. too many songs that are too large in file size.
