Pachira aquatica aka "Money Plant Tree", does look a lot like an umbrella plant. RScott

It's a variety of Scheffelera. nice specimine. Cuttings will root in water. You can wash the leaves with milk water to make them shine.

This looks like a "Money Tree" to me. Some people braid the stalks when they are younger. I think that's what it is.
