Why else would anyone vote for a Democrat unless they are unemployed, on welfare or have no solid sense of morals.

I'm not a Democrat, but it is easy to see that the last time the US government came even close to having a balanced budget was with Clinton. Last time prior to that was before Reagan.

Not sure what you think about that, but I'm getting damned tired of the government spending more than it is bringing in. And you cannot blame the recent deficits on the Dems, considering that the GOP controlled the Presidency and Congress for 4 years (2002-2006) and could have balanced the budget at any time.

I make my own money too there bro and let me tell you something you should already know, Financial accountability is a cornerstone for success, we are so far in debt as a nation that small blips in our economy shake world markets as we're seeing in the subprime housing market right now, if we do not build on SOUND fiscal policy we'll end up devalueing our currency and creating a new recession, we either pay as we go (the democratic plan) or live in hock and lose it wuicker than if we had an ARM with stated income

I too am an independent business person, I built a company from the ground up, employ a workforce and earn myself a tidy wage.

I vote democrat because I am appalled by the lack of accountability, the less than diplomatic foreign policy, and the blatant neglect for the needs of the nation the GOP has displayed in recent years.

because when you go to get your morning paper there was someone up at 4:00 am deliverin that paper to the newstands, wich im sure you just read the propeganda filled headlines!!!

then later after work when you stop at a burger joint to get a bite you probably see that same person that delivered you mornin paper handin you your burger!!!

then when you stop to fill your tank you will probably see his wife workin at the cash register!!!

then even later if ya decide to go to a movie or to a resturant you will probably see his kid sellin ya popcorn or waitin your table to get a better education!!!

and if one of them get sick, or their vehicle breaks down, or some disaster at home happens to take them out for a while i would rather help them get back on there feet than to kick them when they are down!!!

been there done that!!!

Yep, the dems need victims to get elected. Have they helped blacks at all like they have been promising the last 50 years? I don't see it. In fact the inner cities that vote democrat have gotten worse. Is this by design, I think it might be. If the dems gave the blacks an education they would vote republican.

I have a job, not on welfare, and have a good morality,

I voted for Kerry in 2004 because President Bush turned his back on me and my other conservative republicans and threw the miiltary under the bus with this disaster in Iraq.

I thank you for your time, and hopefully you will understand that stereotypes are good for trolling but in the real world theres lots of decent people who vote democrat

Why are you asking this? If you dont like Dems that much, why is Edwards you avartar?

Vote for someone who YOU like what they are offering to do. And make sure that they have the ability to actually follow through with their "promises". Dont vote according to "party lines". I swear, we could blatently have the next Hitler running for president and mass amounts of people would vote for him (or her) with only knowing what party they are from.

Wow, did you know that you are in the minority? The vast majority of people in this country who are gainfully employed are not making it financially very well right now. And one catastrophic illness in their family could wipe them out.

But by all means, if you are okay, vote for your MORAL Republicans. The party whose unofficial line is "I've got mine, scr*w you!" Very moral and Christian of you....
