It was most definately different and unexpected. You see, when my husband proposed to me it took me completely by surprise. I hadn't really known him that long (may be a couple of months; 2 or 3), but knew I loved him all the same. Any way, on one of my visits up to see him (the second I believe because he lived out of state) we took a long walk up to the park and sat looking at the stars just talking about any thing and every thing and cuddling. Then he just hugged me tight and whispered in my ear that he loved me and asked me to marry him. I was so blown away and overwhelmed that at first I didn't know what to say it was just so unexpected. I mean he had the ring and every thing, but of course I said yes I was so happy and still am.

My man proposed to me at a small get together at his place. We had bought the rings together, so I knew it was coming SOMEtime, but did not expect him to do it at such an informal setting. It actually made it a wonderful surprise and I loved it! You don't need to make it this wild crazy romantic proposal, just something special to yall. Our loved ones were special to us, so that was good for us. Good luck!

My fiance brought me to a jeweler to look at rings. He asked me to try on every one he pointed out to the store owner, and then he would observe the rings on my finger for a good three or four minutes before suggesting another. When he found the one he liked (and I liked) best, he bought it. Right there...on the spot. He then held onto it, in his pocket for the remainder of the day. He brought me to dinner at our fav restaraunt..where I thought he would pop the question..but he didn't. Then to the park in the gazebo where I thought he would pop th question...but he didn't. He kept me in suspense all day, and night. It wasn't until we got home, and I put on my pajamas to go to bed that he proposed. It wasn't the traditional proposal, but that suspense made it all the more special.

well being a woman if I were to be engaged again well I would like a nice romantic candle lit dinner just the two of us hire a violinist to come by your table at the right time when you see a twinkle in her eyes then get down on ne knee and express your love for her and then ask her to marry you
