My mom's friend has a 5 month male kitten and he needs a name. The cat is gray with stripes.

A name is a personal thing. I always observe a new member of the family for a day or two, then choose something that fits their personality, cuz they have to live with it for a long time (hopefully). And I like unique names, not what everyone else has.

My friend wanted a gray cat so she could name it Ashley for a girl or Ashton or Grayson for a boy. I thought they were really cute and fitting names.
My gray/white cat is named Orion, and I love the name. His nickname is O-ee....it's short and sweet!

think of things like biblical names or ancient gods names. they're my fav because they are better than something like fluffy. they're unique.
i have biblical names for my cats and greek gods names for my dogs. malichie and ezekiel then achillies and ares
