I used to indicate, then wait for an appropriate gap before moving across.
Spending some time on the M5 today I finally realised why it was taking me so long. The correct proceedure appears to be;
indicate (optional)
immediately move over into the lane you require (this may be one or more lanes at a time)

don't worry, it'l be fine, everyone slams on their breaks for you.

Worked so much better for the people I saw use this method!

- Put bifocals on. Double check that you're with the right partner.

- Set alarm on your clock for 2 minutes... in case you doze off in the middle.

- Set the mood with lighting. Turn 'em ALL OFF !

- Make sure you put 911 on your speed dial before you begin... just in case!

- Write partner's name on your hand in case you can't remember what to scream out at the end.

I want to buy this NEW house from DR HORTON at full price but they say that I can only buy as Primary home or secondary home.

If I buy as secondary home but rent it out, will the builder take any action. DO THEY IMPLEMENT THESE CLAUSES? My agent says that they don't come back and check.

What is your experience?

We are actually still in the middle of divorce, but have been separated for a while, but he thinks he might be bipolar or something like that. I know he must have some mental health issues, because he had this horrible mood swings and an explosive character. Does anyone know what a psychiatrist's diagnosis might do to his career? He is prior Air Force and I know just calling and asking for counseling put up a red flag for them. He needs help but does not want to get kicked out- or be flagged- Any advice from active duty or prior military?

1.What does "address" mean in the following sentense?
"individual citizens are working on ways to address the health problems of women and girls."

2."If women have a chance to work and earn as full and equal partners in society, their families will flourish"
Is that correct? Don't I need to add an "as" before "partners"?

3."Sometimes you will need to do the books, and sometimes you will have to market your services."
What does this mean by "do the books", sth like financial and business records?

4.I can hardly understand this sentence. I would appreciate it if you make this a little easier.
"You may be working with an entire company's worth of differing agendas and personalities to develop a website."

5."you will usually be getting input from several different people at one stage or another." What is "at one stage or another"?

Thanks for your help!

A young family moved into a house next door to a vacant lot. One day a construction crew turned up to start building a house on the empty lot.

The young family's 5-year-old daughter naturally took an interest in all the activity going on next door and spent much of each day observing the workers.

Eventually the construction crew more or less adopted her as a kind of project mascot. They chatted with her, let her sit with them while they had coffee and lunch breaks, and gave her little jobs to do here and there to make her feel important.

At the end of the first week they even presented her with a pay envelope containing a couple of dollars. The little girl took this home to her mother who said all the appropriate words of admiration and suggested that they take the two dollar "pay" she had received to the bank the next day to start a savings account.
