No they're not healthy at all. Take a look at the nutrition label on them real quick and you'll see what all they're loaded with... everything! Eat some cereal and milk (healthy cereal like Special K or Cheerios), with a glass of OJ. Or some fruit.

Well, it's not truly a "healthy" breakfast, but is that really what you're going for? Or are you trying to lose weight? Because the thing is, you can lose weight without eating healthy, all you have to do is make sure you keep your calories down. So yeah, technically if you are trying to lose weight and you just eat small amounts of junk all day, you're still getting few enough calories that your body will lose weight. But chances are, the momentary satisfaction of having a junk food diet would not make up for the fact that you would never feel satisfied after a meal, since you cannot eat as much of the junky food as you could of "healthy" foods. It's all about calorie density. Foods that have more calories per ounce are more dense, and foods that have fewer calories per ounce are not dense. What this means for a diet is that if you want to go for less dense foods, you could have a 3- egg white omelet with an english muffin and coffee for breakfast (sounds filling, right), or you can have a pop tart with a glass of orange juice (not filling). They may be just as many calories, but you're getting more bang for your buck, so to speak, with the omelet. Anyway, it might be helpful for you to just kind of skim the internet looking at diets, not necessarily to find one to do, because you certainly don't need to follow a specific diet in order to lose weight. But it would give you an idea of what a good diet is. They all have a lot of things in common. So go search around and educate yourself a little about diets. Or ask you mom, chances are that she has dieted at least a couple times in her life, since most women do at some point. And just for the record, I would say never drink juice on a diet, it's not a good idea. It's very very dense. It's like drinking coke with breakfast.

a Pop Tart would be better than nothing. anyone that is serious about health and fitness would not eat only a Pop Tart and juice for breakfast. that meal is basically all simple sugars with no proteins or fats

I would try to eat something else. Maybe have the fruit and yogurt for breakfast instead. Pop tarts can be really fatten and i don't think they have any real nutritionally value.

Pop Tarts are loaded with calories. I think it's 200 for just one, that means that for the two in the package that's 400 cal., not including the orange juice. I personally wouldn't recommend eating them regularly if you want to lose weight. Egg whites are good for you, so is turkey bacon.

I think you could still lose weight eating poptarts. They make lowfat ones too. I've tried the lowfat strawberry and they taste the same as the regular ones. Exercise is key though

you would lose more weight if you ate something healthier and with less sugar.
fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, toast with jelly, cereal, or a special k bar would all be much better choices for a diet breakfast
