It ran rough for a few days then would not start all together. Checked the plugs and there was no spark while cranking. Any ideas as to the cause?

the usual cause for a 90-92 accord not starting is the main relay that controls the fuel pump and ignition system. On that car the relay is located up under the left side of the dash to the left of the steering wheel.

the problem happens most often in hot weather as the interior temperataures rise and cause the circuit board in the relay to crack.

that would be the first place to start if you don't have spark.

other possibilities are a bad ignition coil, bad distributor rotor or a timing belt that has broken. The percentages are with the main relay being bad as its a fairly common occurance in hot weather.

hope that helps

Honda guy has some good answers. Test your coil pack inside your distributor. If that's good then it will more than likely be the ignition module inside the distributor. Picture a little chip about an inch and 1/2 wide with wires plugged into it. I've replaced many of these on those year accords but you have to take off the whole dizzy. Oh yeah and it's not cheap. Most of the time it's what they change then they try to charge you like they rebuilt the whole distributor. best of luck.
