I have brand new landscaping with a pond and waterfall. There is not going to be anything living in it. I'm guessing it's about 300 gallons. I am adding water to the pond every 2-3 days due to evaporation (I'm in South Florida). I am also adding about a cup of Clorox to the water every 10 days or so. I brush the waterfall and pond down with a stiff brush to remove the algae and dirt, then skim it with a pool skimmer to clean it.

Is there anything I can use to keep the water cleaner longer than Clorox? Are there any slow-release chlorine or algaecide tablets I can float in there?

I have feeder goldfish for over two years. One is slightly larger than the other and seems to have always had a few health problems, but usually bounces back with time. This time he really looks bad, and seems to be suffering. He is twisting and twirling around in the tank and has been face down, tail up in the gravel since last night. He is still using his gills, but it looks like the end. Is there something I can or should do to ease his passing?

My son is 7 and has a kid in his class who first threathened to beat him up at the playground and is now calling him gay. My son had no idea what that word mean, so another kid explained it to him and then two other kids starting chanting gay. My son was mortified and cried when he told me. I fired an e-mail to his teacher whom in turn told the vice principal. They sent the kid to the office and the vice principal addressed all the kids in the classroom about name calling. I told my son to stay away from those kids at all times. I thought that would be the end of it, but it is happening again. I fired up another e-mail to the teacher and waiting to see the result. My thing is, what is the best way to deal with such a thing. My son is nice, happy kid who loves people but I don't want his esteem to go down and start hating school.

I got divorced 5 years ago, I have a daughter with my exwife. Ive been going out with my girlfriend for 2 years, shes20 im30, Ive never cheated, Im loyal carring, romantic & im told im good looking!. I dont drink or smoke, Im a fitness instructor. Since weve bin together Ive had clamidya once and an STD. She swears shes never had sexual contact behinde my back. She admitted to me that her ex called her Saturday night telling her she was bored. So my girlfriend invited her out with her friends. Her ex has 3 kids and a husband. How possibly bored can one be? I think her ex wants her back. Her ex gave her a picture of the both of them from there past. And I saw the picture by accident when my girlfriend open her purse. She admitted how she got the picture, but I feel that my girlfriend was cheating on me. Okay i'm down to 2 different granites. Absolute black - pretty shiny black. Or and I'm not sure of the name of this one its a blackish-grey with tan and bluish grey specks in it.

Right now appliances are white but at some point I would like to get stainless. Probably not until I get my taxes back though. Walls will possibly be dapper tan. I'm not comitted to any color yet. I did think about a sage or celery green also if I go with the black. I am so undecided.
I love them both.
