Can I just smash up the flaked food to feed them until they can eat baby brine shrimp???

yea course u can i got really small fish and my flakes are really big so i jus make them smaller but not to small b coz i got really big gold fish in a different tank

Newly hatched baby brine shrimp would be the better choice, but you can use very finely ground flake food.

Your babies need a special formula for freshwater fish. Your local pet store should have something for them if they are the ones that sold you the adults. Good luck!

you can buy a tube of fry food at the local pet store. It's designed for baby fish, lot's of protein and it liquid so it's easy for them to eat.
