Dear All

Holy Book Quran answers your Question and Does not degrade Mary peace be on her.

3:47. Mary said; O my Lord! how can I bear a child when no man has ever touched me? He said: Even so but Allah creates what he will. When He decides anything, He only say to it, "Be" and it becomes.

4:171 No doubt, the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, is but an apostle of Allah and His Word; which Allah cast towards Mary and a Spirit from Him.

Let Us Ponder over the Creation of Adam by God:

15:28/29 And lo! Thy Sustainer said unto the angels: "Behold, I am about to create mortal man out of sounding clay, out of dark slime transmuted; and when I have formed him fully and breathed into him of My Spirit, fall down before him in prostration!

No, I believe god caused life to grow in her belly, just like he caused life to grow in the man he formed from the dust of the earth. He spoke and it happened.

Do you think his spirit became one with the spirit of the earth when he made the form of man from the dirt?

A man and a woman being as one is the product of a creator, not the other way around.

Why it was mary i do not know, I assume that because of the time of the earth at that point she was the best candidate to fulfill the promise that he would be from the line of David. Her cousin gave birth to John the Baptist, no small feat in itself either.

She was just some girl, created by God for that purpose. Not some diety or God. In fact the bible talks about how she had given him up for mad during his ministry.

Concieved by the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary,Idon't believe that their spirits became one at the time,I believe that Mary was chosen ,by God for His reason,I will not question that.
People may, may consider Mary as, the Co-Redemtionist, one day.

Yes. The Holy Spirit entering her body caused her to conceive Jesus.

I'm not sure what you mean by that, but if you mean what I THINK you mean, then no!

The spirit of God inhabited the egg within Mary, after causing it to begin growing without the aid of a male sperm. But Mary, herself, wasn't changed. At least, not in the way that I think you're suggesting from your question.

Does God ever need any help doing what he does? IS it possible for GOD to become one with a being who isn't perfect and not corrupt himself? Think about it, anytime a spiritual union is consummated (like in marriage) anything that one person has becomes the other persons problem as well. In addition what GOD does is eternal, so a spiritual union with a person who was only temporary was out of the question.

Biblically, that make no sense. To say that their spirit is as one is to say that Mary was a divine creation. She was as anyone else, she was chosen by God to giv birth to Jesus. She is not some holy thing that everyone should pray to. The bible says that God does not share his glory with anyone.

Jesus wasn't conceived. He was miraculously placed in the womb of Mary.

No human can become part of God. Jesus did not becomepart of God because He was laready God. Why would God defile Himself by becoming one with a sinful human?
