I tried getting rid of a blackhead, but it left a dark red mark. Will it stay there for a while? What can I do to get rid of it (right here @ home) :(

I have Windows Vista and my Word program has worked for the three months I have had this computer, but today when I try to type a little thing in the corner says that "This modification is not allowed because the selection has been locked." Even existing documents won't let me edit.

Can anyone help me fix this? Please and thank you!

I'm just looking for some official numbers on how many UFO sightings per year since 1947 there's been (on average). I don't want the answers to dissolve into a "they're real / they're not" match, I just need a reliable source on how many have actually been reported, or a website with similar statistics. Thanks!

My neighbor, who for anonymity sake I'll call "Little Miss better than you" was over this morning to let me know just how much more her husband makes than mine and why my children are going to have a hard time in life *unlike hers*. She's always dressed to the hilt, throws words like "heretofore" and "penultimate" around just to prove she's not a redneck, yet she has a habit of picking her nose. Today, while she was doing this, her press-on nail came off in her nose. I couldn't help it, I laughed so hard, my iced tea came out of my nose. I tried to stop her leaving in a huff, but I just couldn't stop laughing. I'm extremely sorry I was so rude, and I want to make it up to her. How do you think I should go about doing it? A card maybe? If so, what should it say?

why do women eat more sweets than men? whenever I go hang out at the cafe, I see more women at the bakery section than men. I say 10 women to 1 man order something from the bakery.

I've just done an oil change on my vauxhall corsa. I used 10w 40 and the manual recommends a max of 5w40 - is this to much of a problem? Plus anyone know what the grades mean? I know it has something to do with viscocity, but what?

My daughter is going to live with her grandparents, in Poland this year. Grandpa is retired Navy and can get on military bases. Is there anyway that my daughter, going to home school, could check in with the teachers they have at the bases?

Okay recently while on a road trip i was inspired out of the blue with this (what i think good) book idea...Ive been writing all my ideas, characters, and plot points on a notepad, but idk what to do now. Do i start actually writing? or do i/can i send in my idea to someone who could actually publish it? Why I am still staying here in our country is to transfer the total sum of $4.5million U.S.dollars which, my late father deposited in the custody of a leading bank here in Abidjan, he deposited the fund with the name of my younger brother who was killed in the riot as the next of KIN while he used the name of one of his foreign partner as the beneficiary of the fund because he wanted to transfer the fund abroad before his untimely death.

Before the death of my father in one of the private hospital, he gave me the covering documents of the fund deposits in the Bank, as I am his first daughter and he so much loved me with trust that was why he handed this documents to me for safe keeping and advised me to look for a good person abroad who will transfer the fund for me so that I can leave this country.

Currently the amount in the bank which I am having the documents is $4.5m U.S.D. Right now I wish to transfer this fund to you so that you will assist me leave this country and to invest the money into any viable sector in your country, also you will help me to join you in your country for me to start up a new life with you there immediately the fund gets to your account as I am willing to continue with my education too.

Since I am no longer safe as far as Africa is concern at the moment, I wanted to transfer the fund before leaving the country because this fund is my last hope and the only hope I have now. I don't know how we will go about it but I hope hearing from you before I can know which decision to make next. I will like you to stand as the foreign beneficiary of the fund, as I will officially introduce you as the new beneficiary to enable the bank transfer this fund to your name to your country from here before I come to join you. Like I said, all I need from you is your kindness and sincererity in all we do, I will be willing to trust all this into your care provided you promised taking care of me because I don't have anyone to run to.

Before I even pick you to assist me I have prayed and slept over it asking God to provide for me a Godly minded person that will assist me in this transaction that was the reason why l am sending you this email today. may be that is really our intension and if so we are doing a great job of that! we make a war like that and then leave Iraq and keep selling weapons to both sides and keep a malnitrition war till they are all weak and we will then make money repairing their infrastructure. we did that when we gave a green light to saddam to attack iran. we sold weapon to both sides till they both weakened and we assured hezbollah with a complete control of the country. remember that war? no way we stay and support Iraq since then we have to ally with Iran!

I am having an issue with a tree tree in my backyard. The tree is very nice and rather large, and I believe there is some sort of insect issue with the tree. There are nests that are taking over limbs of the tree with a web like form around the leaves and it is causing the leaves and even the branch to die. I have spotted what I believe are caterpillars around the tree, but I am unsure. Also, a lot of the leaves are also becoming very spotty and holey.

I am unsure of the type of tree but it is at least 40 years old and I can send pictures of the tree and the webs and insects I have seen.

I have been working for a fairly large corportation for 15 years, and last 7 years I have been working 3 days (part time). I have a 4 months old baby and I am scheduled to go back last week of this month. I assumed that I am going back part time but my manager just called me home and said they have been extremely busy and my only option is to return back to work full time. My DS has severe acid reflux and it will be impossible for me to find someone to take care of him for extra 2 days and also I myself am not ready to go work full time having 2 kids (7 yr old and 4 mnth old). I asked my manager whey she didn't tell me sooner and she said she was too busy. She also said the decision has been made and I don't have any other option (which possibley can mean if I can't come back full time then quit). Can this company (very anti family) do this to me legally? Any advice will be greatly appreicated.

how do you balance your partner in a relationship. i have been involved in both extremes. the overly possessive bf that wont let u out of his sight, is extremely jealous for no reason and does not trust u AT ALL, and now i'm married to someone who believes every word i say. pays no attention really to what i am doing. is so involved in his own world that the only thing he would miss is dinner on the table and his clean clothes. he is very good to me otherwise. basically lets me do whatever i want. up until recently, it didnt bother me but now i really feel ignored. how do i balance it out. i have asked questions like this before and the response is usually sex orientated. i'm looking for actual companionship from my hubby. someone to be genuinely interested in what i do and like instead of just saying "whatever you want" as he turns back to his own world, of which i am not in. then, when he decides he wants to #@%#, will sit down with me and act like he is interested.

This guy I know from college just invited me to his wedding. I can't really say that I am friends with him, because I don't see him much. I might see him once every 2 or 3 years, and that's only because we sometimes have group gatherings with old friends from college.

I'd have to drive wake up early and drive an hour to get to this wedding, for a guy who I'm not really friends with. But I don't have a legitimate excuse to get out of it.

What would you do?

I don't think it matters one little bit how much petrol of fossil fuel we use. The quicker we use it the quicker it'll be gone and we'll be forced to live back in the stone age. If sea levels rise that'll be good for marine life and bad for humans. if the world warms up by a few degrees it'll be back to the way it was a few million years ago. The planet is always in flux, it is always changing I think it's supreme arrogance by human beings to think that they can control the planet. They can't. If the world becomes overpopulated by mankind without any form of control nature will force control on our numbers the same way it does with any species through famine, disease or uniquely for humans with war. Thats a worry for us but the planet won't give a sh1t and will continue as it always does.
