First of all I would like to say I am sorry you weren't sure about what can happen if you have unprotected sex. Like many of the other answers you have read, yes it is true you can get pregnant while having unprotected sex no matter if your periods are regular or irregular. It only takes one time to become pregnant after having unprotected sex. It might not have happened before on the other occasion you were sexually active but you can't expect to be that lucky Evey single time. If you don't have access to birth control than you should really look into using condoms. If the person you are having sex with doesn't want to use them, then maybe you should think about NOT HAVING SEX with this person. You should really take care of yourself especially when it comes to something like sex. A baby isn't the only thing you can catch from having unprotected sex. There are all kinds of sexually transmitted diseases out there that you could catch. So, be careful and if you are already pregnant, good luck. If not try looking into the morning after pill. This helps when you have had unprotected sex but you have to take it before 72 hours since you had unprotected intercourse.

You can get pregnant from unprotected sex on the day that your flow stops and even earlier if you finish off with spotting. If your period is irregular, then you are definitely playing Russian Roulette with sex as your egg release is NOT on even a partially predictable timetable. Either use some form of birth control (and even the pill does not work all the time) or get used to being up most of the night, abandoning all social life, losing out on an education (and the decent jobs it brings), and being a child raising a child.

It's possible to be pregnant after PROTECTED sex ONCE. If you have any concerns about being pregnant, definitely look into them... get a test done, either at-home or at the doctor, and I would also advise that you don't have any more unprotected sex. If you don't want to get pregnant (or get an STD) then always use a condom. Guess what? No one will want to have sex with you once you get herpes and ghonorrea, so protected sex is the way to go.

It is possible to get pregnant even from one time. whether protected or unprotected. I am not saying to practice abstinence (even though judging from this question the world does not need your genes being passed on) but definately use protection. I would say get on the pill AND use a condom. its not worth it to have a kid at a young age just because you want to have it be a little bit more pleasurable for the short time that it lasts. and there does not need to be ANY more teenage parents there are too many as it is. USE A CONDOM ATLEAST. AT ALL TIMES!!!

it is possible to get pregnant after having unprotected sex only once. fertilization of the egg can happen up to 4 days after sex. it is best to see a doctor if you really think you are pregnant, if you are not maybe you can get a method of birth control while you are there.

what does having sex have to do with having a baby?

I mean really. It is always possible to get pregnant if you had unprotected sex. Sometimes even if you had protected sex.

why is it so hard to use a condom or go to the doctor for check ups and get on the pill or some other method. If you're worried about getting pregnant make him use something. There are more worries out there then getting pregnant
