There are only nine men to retire unbeaten over there entire professional career; The others were Young Mitchell, Jack McAuliffe, Jimmy Barry, Rocky Marciano, Laszlo Papp, Terry Marsh, Ji Won Kim, Ricardo Lopez and Sven Ottke

there would probably be thousands since you did not say champions. A lot of guys have a few pro fights and give up undefeated for whatever reason.

great question, and i seriously believe one of those fighters should be awarded the "best in history" title over Muhammad Ali... I respect him, but i think the guy is just overrated.
