Told work I was pregnant..no paid Maternity Leave?

I just told my work that I was pregnant. I wanted to make sure that all of my bases were covered when it came to my Maternity Leave in February. HR informed me that I can not get paid Maternity Leave.....Which is really not good, and it totally stressing me out now. They told me I should have applied for it waaayyyy back earlier this year. Umm...I am beyond excited about this baby, but I will admit that it was not completely planned. How was I supposed to know I should have elected ML before I was even pregnant...Anyone else feeling or going through the same thing...I feel totally (don't mean to say this) but screwed. (I have been at my job for 2 years)

why am i connected to the internet to NETGEAR?

Could a national sales tax replace a income tax?

If we replace income tax with a national sales tax then evebody would have 2 pay and employers wouldent have to deal with all the costs of accountants for there income tax stuff plus nobody could cheet and hide from the goverment. what do u think?

11 Days Past Due For Delivery?

I am 11 days past due for a delievery and was scheduled to be induced today at 4:30. About 10 minutes ago, 3:30 they called me and told me I would have to be rescheduled for tomorrow, because they were toooooo buisy. HOW do I get this kid out tonight. Sex isn't working, any other good ideas?!?!?!

If you still live with your parents, how much do you pay them rent, if any?

I pay mine $300.00 a month for a small room/small bathroom - I don't use much water, electricity, i'm never home - I don't have any privacy at all though so it's like it's not my room. Yes I know that I could rent an apartment for 400-500 with utilities included, however, my parents are so controlling that if I move out, they'll never speak to me again. Anyways, that's a different subject - I was just wondering how much is a decent amount to pay rent when you still live at home...

Whats a good, durable, affordable begginers digital camera?

I'm a total newbie at cameras. The only one I've ever had is a old film Canon that is like 20 years old. So I have no Idea how or when to use the different options on the new digitals. I want my camera to use for outdoor stuff so it needs to be tough. Not some little flimsy plastic thing that would break as soon as I sat on it. I'm joining the military so I need one that can take good photos in very bright dessert regions if you know what I mean. It needs to be able to fit in a pocket or a very small pouch. And needs a good zoom and video. It also needs to be under $250. Also whats the difference between optical and digital zoom? So if anyone has any ideas on any cameras that would fit or even just what requirements I should look for. Like how many mega pixels or what options I would need would be very helpful.
