Half of you don't see my tongue in my cheek, and some of you just didn't read the Q. I didn't misspell or confuse tourist and terrorist. I am concerned that not as many tourists want to come to the USA as they used to.

Yeah those local tourists always pissed me off to no end. It felt like they'd purposely get those double strollers and hang out in the narrowest walkways in the harbor.

If I were a foreign tourist I would have no problem visiting the US unless I was from the Middle East or an obviousl Muslim than I might be scrutinized more than most.
Tourists have money to spend illegal aliens don't. Terrorists may spend some too but in the wrong ways.

Tourists never invaded our country to begin with a tourist by definition would be visiting and hopefully spend some of there money here. Now if you are referring to not having a terrorist attack since 9/11 its more likely that we have just been lucky.

tourists? um no tourists are allowed in our country and are safe...i believe you may mean terrorists and no, bush has done a miserable job, just because there haven't been any attacks does not mean he's done a good job. he's making terrorist groups hate america even more...it's just a matter of time before they strike again. and i don't even want to think about how big it could be.

i do not think that we, as a country, are that popular amongst the world's population. i believe that we are seen as arrogant and self righteous. invading iraq unilaterally did nothing to dispel that notion. and i believe that europe sees thru the democracy for iraq story. they see it as a move to control the middle eastern oil.
while americans see themselves as all powerful and righteous, the rest of the world sees inequality, the shrinking middle class, and lack of many social programs, that are taken for granted in many so called lesser countries.
