Okay,

So, I've seen a couple of people on R&S say, instead of "God" , "G-D"

Whats up with that? Have I TOTALLY missed out on something?

Will I burn in eternal hellfire because I didn't bleep-out the "o"?

What denomination of Christianity forbids a person to say "God"? Taking the Lord's name in vain is one thing, but isn't this OTT? (Over the top, eh!)

John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr.

Three of the four have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for their solo careers, Lennon in '94, McCartney in '99, and Harrison in '04.

So based on their solo careers only, who do you think was the best musician and who was the worst?

For me it'd be:

1. John Lennon. His work in the Beatles was excellent, but solo, he's just incredible. His lyrics are so deep and clever, and he can create great melodies.

2. George Harrison. He was underrated as a guitarist, but he had a pretty successful solo career. I love his solo songs.

3. Paul McCartney. He was good in the Beatles, creating simple but melodic tunes, but as a solo artist, he began to decline. I don't care if he's one of the most successful artists even as a solo one, he just lost his touch....

4. Ringo Starr. Not that I don't care about him, but...I've never really heard his solo music before.

I got my first (and my last!) birth control shot in february and I haven't had a normal period since. For me that's 6-7 days of moderate bleeding. I just get discharge and lite bleeding here and there. Anyone else had this problem?

I just need to confirm this, since I was sure until people started to disagree.

Tanning is a release of melanin right? It is different to sun burn.

If there are two people, and person a gets a tan and person b doesn't get anything, that means person a is better off because the body protects itself, and is probably less damaged than person b.

Someone who tans more or easily is better off in sunlight right? Again, there is a difference between burning and tanning.

My boyfriend &I have been dating for 3years. I just finally admitted to my family that I have a boyfriend. &they made it clear enough to let me know that they "hate" me. See, My family isn't the perfect family. Actually,no ones family is perfect,but believe me my family is beyond normal. It's easy to tell that my family has problems.. financially too.. My parents never talk to me.. &it took me this long to realize they arent going to change. They just tell me what to do, and not in a "nice" way..but by yelling. My eldest brother even told me they werent going to change.They plan on making me brake up with my boyfriend..But you know that feeling when you just "know"..I know he's the one...I love him so much. He's been there whenever I needed to vent from this little thing called "life",progress on my religion,and took me out from my misery..I would never want to lose him, three years and I wouldnt trade it for the world. I just dont know what to do or how to make my family understand..

I just bought an expensive dishwasher and it will be delivered tomorrow, however, my friends are now telling me it will cost alot of money to get a plumber to set it up. I was expecting I would be able to do it myself. Doesnt it just set up the same a a washing machine??? I dont have much room and I was going to put it in my laundry. Its a stand alone one. I've been married for 7 yrs, but strangely our sex life isn't enjoyable. I feel unwanted as I'm always the one taking the initiative. Try to talk to him, but to no avail. Think bcoz we've knw each other for 15 yrs & the spark is no longer there, just going thro' some motion. I get really lonely at time since we've no kids though we tried hard for the past few years.. We don't quarrel alot, but assume we understand each other. He admitted started an affair last yr & I was quite sad. My marriage is now pending divorce, not bcoz I can't forgive. There is something really missing in our yrs of marriage, possibly our intimacy, our involvement & participation in each other's life, etc.. I feel sad abt letting go, after all, we had been together for so many years.. We did mention abt reconciling, but no actions.. I've move back to my parents' place & he stay alone. I'm still concern abt him, eg. if he now has new gf, come home late, but do not knw what's the points.. should I carry on?

hi im maggie and im 14 yrs old. my brother has cerebral palsy, ataxia, mitochondrial disease and is legally blind. his name is charlie and he is 16 yrs old. by reading my questions some people probably think im crazy but the truth is im just very confused... my mom and dad wont tell me about what is going on with him, even when he goes to the hospital for weeks at a time. and the truth is--- im scared to search for what he has on the internet because im afraid of what ill find out. all i know is that is gets worse every day--- scary right? well if you have any info on any of these things i think i really need to know

About a month ago my 4 month old puppy had parvo. She had to stay at the vet for 5 days hooked up to an IV until she was better. Once I brought her back she seemed fine (was eating and drinking, not throwing up, ect). But ever since she came back she seems to always be tired and sleeping a lot. She still has her little spurts of energy (she's a mini pinscher so normally she has LOTS of energy), but it seems like now all she ever wants to do is sleep most of the time. I went for a post check up at the vet and told them that she is sleepy all the time but they said she is fine and not to worry about it as long as she is still eating and drinking normally which she is. So....I've heard somewhere that after puppies get parvo they never fully recover 100%. Is this true? Should I just get used to her being a lazy dog now?

I took Precalculus (college) in the spring semester. The teacher mostly taught advanced algebraic equations and went over functions. She didn't cover SIN, COS, TAN at all.

Are these required in an AP Calculus class? Should I get some type of prep-book before I take the class?

Any help would be appreciated. I'm nervous about taking this class. I have a 4.0 up until now and would hate to lose it in this class.

But im already going into 10th grade. Wasted my freshmen year. I have never played sports before but i want to be on a team. Only time i have ever been on a team was tee-ball when i was 5. I play alot around my house and with my friends but i never have played on a team. People say id be a good basketball player cause im tall but im not strong and i cant play defense at all. I can shoot okay but with people in my face im horrible. I tried out in 6th grade but didnt make it because i was late one day for tryouts. I would try baseball but i have never played baseball before and dont think i could hit a ball coming at me 60+ mph. I cant catch all that great either. I would do track but im not a fast person (tried it in 6th grade) but i quit because i didnt get to run any events and i didnt want to waste my time going to practices to just sit around during track meets. I would do football but im not a strong person, and not really that tough. Any help with what i should do?
