But im already going into 10th grade. Wasted my freshmen year. I have never played sports before but i want to be on a team. Only time i have ever been on a team was tee-ball when i was 5. I play alot around my house and with my friends but i never have played on a team. People say id be a good basketball player cause im tall but im not strong and i cant play defense at all. I can shoot okay but with people in my face im horrible. I tried out in 6th grade but didnt make it because i was late one day for tryouts. I would try baseball but i have never played baseball before and dont think i could hit a ball coming at me 60+ mph. I cant catch all that great either. I would do track but im not a fast person (tried it in 6th grade) but i quit because i didnt get to run any events and i didnt want to waste my time going to practices to just sit around during track meets. I would do football but im not a strong person, and not really that tough. Any help with what i should do?

Check your local YMCA or Boys and Girls Club. They usually offer different sports programs for any level. It's a way to get into a sport and still get instruction. If you like baseball check out your local Little League. My 15 year old son loves sports but had not found the skills it takes to make a school team. He played basketball with the Boys and Girls Club and baseball through Little League. He has become a great athlete and has learned a lot more than sitting on some bench for his school. Good luck and remember sports are supposed to be fun and a great way to keep healthy!

See, you're putting the cart before the horse on alot of these sports! :P You'll become stronger, and more confident by playing. You don't have to be the next Lebron James to try out for basketball, you'll get used to shooting underpressure by playing competitively. The whole reason you have a coach is so he can *coach* you into doing it the right way. :) Just try out for the teams, the worst that can happen is they say "no thanks" and you're right back where you started. No big loss.

well im a HS graduate..
i played varsity soccer for 4 yrs..
throught the yrs.. there were girls that would come
each year.. & learn.. they joined the team ..
without any skills at all.. but they ended up learning...
also the friendships u create..
thats pretty much the best part of playing and being a part of a sport..
therefore i think it's not late.. u still have 3 yrs to go.. i say u play & learn..
it might be hard at first, but in the long run..
the memories & life long friendships are what truly count!! =]

No sports is kinda normal. and the nice bodies is a plus. and dressing depends on if it's casual or formal. casual go for either a tight sweater or a cami and a dress shirt unbuttoned on top. formal dresses are all pretty good looking. it depends mostly on your body type.
