First, my father's brother passed away about ten years ago leaving a wife of three years. My family hardly ever got to know her and did not have much of a relationship after his death.

My mother was adament that she was not invited to my sister's wedding, which my father initially agreed upon as well. However, his family threatened to not show up to the wedding is my aunt was not invited, therefore my father invited her, also after being handed $1000 from his parents.

About a week later, once my uncle's widow received the invitiation, my father rescinded the invitation, telling her that he only sent it due to the threats from his family. Was this right?

Also, my sister invited one of my friend (well, he's not really a friend, he's someone i've known for the past 10 years amd everyone gets annoyed by). After overhearing from my sister that she did not receive a gift from him, my father calledh im and told him he used poor wedding etiquette. Was this right?

Why humans have literally destroyed planet earth!

Don't we just love the freedom to go where we want when we want? Don't animals love that? Doesn't every animal NEED that? Then why do we selfish bastards (humans) lock them up in cages, seperate them from their families, kill them for their fur? This is the 21st Century, we don't need fur! ---

This is more like a warning. If you have a bird, for example, in a cage, set if free now. God will take His revenge from you in the near future.

I went to a "farm" yesterday and then had 2 elephants. Both elephants were seperated by blocks and they both had little dirty water - and their space that they were living in, going to spend their lives in, probably die in - was about the size of my tiny bedroom and my living room.

I hope every zoo keeper, every person who ever killed an animal on purpose for selfish reasons, ever locked up an animal in a cage and purchased it - SUFFERS!

ok so my walls originally were wallpapered when we moved in..then we painted them, and then we painted them again. i want to do a border so how should i go about doing that? will it even stick? any special types of glue/tape?

Today my boyfriend went to pick up his close lady-friend (who just got back from visiting her boyfriend) at the airport. He said that he'll be back soon, and we agreed that I should prepare food.
I was lovingly cooking for him, however and he left a voicemail saying the flight was delayed. So I didn't eat the food I made, and I waited for him, for 2 hrs (airport is 30 mins away).
I finally call him, and he says that he ate with his lady-friend, at a restaurant, cos' she had a stressful trip etc.
I expressed my displeasure, told him i was disappointed, and that he treated me like crap. He apologized in his adorable way.
Looking back now, I'm wondering if I overreacted. And before I apologize and fall for his puppy-dog look, I need to know if I stand corrected. THanks <3

The capital holdings tax would be like a property tax. It would not effect anyone with holdings of less than 2 million dollars. It could be graduated to get the most from those that are hoarding the most in resources. 1 dollar out of every thousand over 2 million up to 5 million then 2 dollars for every thousand to 10 million ect, etc This would make the very rich pay the most. A new thought in this country. This kind of tax will never happen until we make it against the law to pay a lobbyist.

Hi i really need a loan of about 10,000. Ive just turned 18 and i also have just got a minimum wage job and i worked out that i can afford the monthly repayments but because im only 18 and dont own a house where can i go to get this loan ? ESPN is very biased towards the Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees for baseball. I am a Baltimore Orioles fan yeah I know they arent the greatest but I want to see their highlights sometimes. Last time they played Baltimore, all they talked about was Roger Clemens saying he had control over the Orioles but he didnt strike out one person and gave up like 6 runs while Erik Bedard struck out like 12 guys. The Orioles won but the game was about Roger Clemens sucking but in the eyes of ESPN it was the greatest pitching performance not how the Orioles won. I just seen a highlight on their game tonight and it was A-rod striking out 3 times not how the Orioles scored 7 runs. Then their crew can talk about the Red Sox for hours, yeah I know they are a really good team and if I was betting on who would win the World Series, it would be Boston. There are other teams and I believe ESPN selects a few teams and athletes and only talks about them. I was wondering what you guys thought about that

It seems really indifferent now days when people feel they are patriotic and are in support of a war that turned into more of a police action after the capture of Hussein but will not volunteer to join the service. At the same time many also enjoy the privileges secured by past veterans and at times criticize or look down on the men and women that served their country. Pat Tillman became a hero to me overnight when I heard he turned down a lucrative professional contract to serve the country that gave him opportunities in professional sports. Many men, years ago, gave up their sports careers to fight for this incredible country of ours. Not many like Ted Williams anymore.

In Half Blood Prince, young voldemort asks prof slughorn about splitting his soul into 7 horcruxes. The horcruxes are as follows:
Harry, Ring, Book, Locket, Cup, Diadem, and Nagini.

So he only made 6 intentionally, with Harry being the 7th...so why did he want to know about 7 horcruxes if he only ended up really making 6?
