did you find out if you were having a boy or a girl?

my husband and I have 8 weeks until our 23 week scan at which we can find out the sex. I don't really want to know but my husband does so I said if he finds out I don't mind knowing.
Did you get a surprise? or did you find out ?

Friends: It used to be fun being me ..........................................................................

The last time it was fun being me was a year ago last April.

It was a beautiful weekend, the snow was gone and green things growing. My wife and I playing with our son, teaching him to throw tennis balls for the dogs.

My wife died in August, my son a week after his fifth birthday.

There was a ray of hope last winter, another last month, but I fear I've been clutching at straws.

It is heartbreaking when people try to cheer me up, not knowing the isolation I return to when I flick the switch. I wish I could take their efforts with me, but they never seem to leave the screen.

People say I need to get out more. But I socialized in my 20s. Fought the good fight for civil rights and human rights in my 30s and 40s. I was settling into the fruits of my labour with a wife who loved me and a son who would replace me.

And here, at 50, when half the eligible population thinks I'm a "dirty old man" and the other half want someone "tall" ...

Would it be considered patent infringement if...?

Would it be considered patent infrigement if I invented a piece of exercise equiptment that was totally unique if you are using it for one exercise, but closely resembles another machine if you are doing it for a different exercise. (The machine I invented can do exercises that the other machine doesn't do, but it also can do exercises that make it resemble the other machine?) Sorry if this sounds a little confusing....

Golf Clubs?! Lots of answers please!!!?

I just bought a set of adams gt 500's irons. I haven't recieved them in the mail yet, but I am excited to get them. I have been playing golf for about 8 years now and I am a par/bogey golfer. You can usually throw a couple birdies in there every round. I was wondering what people thought of these clubs. Lots of answers please.

Has anyone here had or had a children born with a sacrococcygeal teratoma?

I know this is a longshot, but, I would like to know more. I was born with a benign one and at 18 y/o just realized that I have no tailbone after doing some research and well, my anatomy. If anyone knows anything about this, has the child/you developed cancer again later in life, and was their original teratoma malignant or benign? Share your stories, please.

How did jesus rise on the third day?

Everything i have ever read about the romans and their crucifictions indicate that the final insult to the crucified was to either leave the body on the cross to rot, or throw the body into a mass grave. They did not ever allow the cucified to be taken and given a proper burial.

How did jesus's body make it to his tomb to rise from the dead when the romans never would have allowed anyone to take his body to be buried?

Is a bet always a bet?

My girlfriend bet that I couldn't beat her gay friend in a wrestling match. If he lost, she'd have to pleasure me for a week and be my slave, and if I lost, I'd have to pleasure her AND HER GAY FRIEND for a week, be their slaves, and dress in drag while doing it.

I never thought he would win so I agreed to the bet, but he won through mere luck. Shouldn't the fine be reduced, though? This is OBVIOUSLY too much. If you agree, my fine will be wiped out. If you disagree, it'll be extended to a MONTH and my girlfriend wants you to pick the outfits I wear. Make the right and obvious choice.

Question about displaying pictures from digital camera?

bough a new computer 2 weeks ago. The first time we took the "picture card" out of the digital camera and put it into the slot for it on the computer tower, the monitor immediately displayed a list of pictures form the card for us to wiew.
Yesterday, put card in slot to see new pictures, and nothing happened.
Is something wrong, or do we need to open a program or something. I'm not too computer literate. Thank you for your help.

I can't seem to understand what he's thinking? What he wants?

Been living together for 2 years, we're building a house together, but everytime we talk about getting married he keeps saying later, later, despite the fact that we keep getting more and more serious - making reasons why he doesn't want to, but he says of course he wants to stay together that he's never been happier, why is he so intent on leaving me hanging?

DO you consider fireman, policeman and servicemen heroes?

Do you think the above named individuals are heroes or are they just doing a job? DO you see them any differently than the garbage man, the service station clerk or the accountant? I often wondered how other people thought about these individuals and if they hold them in higher regards than other working individuals or if you see them as another working Joe.

I dream of smoking most nights. Wake up happy as can be.
Sure do wish it wasn't so harmful. How lucky are those that have smoked for years with no ill effects.

Help with emulators?

I am trying to get on a couple different emulators ut for some reason mY computer is not downloading them right. When I try to run them I keep getting the runaround. I have all updated and proper software to run them, but for some reason, no go. Can anyone help me?
