I just bought a set of adams gt 500's irons. I haven't recieved them in the mail yet, but I am excited to get them. I have been playing golf for about 8 years now and I am a par/bogey golfer. You can usually throw a couple birdies in there every round. I was wondering what people thought of these clubs. Lots of answers please.

Sorry, I can't help you out as far as the GT500's go. However, I do have a set of Adams Idea A2 OS hybrids/irons. I'm pretty pleased with them. Get the ball in the air real easily, but a more skilled player might not like them because it's tough to work the ball with them. Mine are in the "super game-improvement" category according to Golf Digest.
I wished I would've waited and saved some more money for a fitted set of Pings, Callaway's or maybe R7's.

well big holmes, sounds like you got what you wanted thats great but remember, its the 5" between the ears can make you or break you.. like the shanks too cloce to the ball, and the ball will go to the right. but its really the shaft steel or graphite thats what you have to look at. just because it sayes matched shafts matched to what. to prove a point about this i bought a Golden Bear driver at mc sporting goods for 30.00 U S funds i put a grafloy graphite tour shaft in it 60.00 i hit the hell out of it carry for me im 60 ys young about 230 yards air time best driver i ever hit. because i think that way i can do it lots of luck my friend i play only once a week and i will shoot 80 to 87 per round remember i only have invested total of 100.00 for the club 5" good luck ans shoot all tem birdies between the ears

How much did you pay?
I would have looked at Mizuno's or Callaways for the cost of those...but either way, it's how they feel in your hand.
