I'm using graphite electrodes with the electrolyte as sodium bicarbonate. There's a strange smell that emits from the electrodes. What is that smell, and should I be worried about it?

I am very skinny and have almost no fat at all and I just recently started working out at the local gym. I was reading an article in a magazine a few days ago that talked about incorporating a diet plan into your work out plan. I really don't want to have to follow a specific diet, I'm a teenager with a high metabolism so I pretty much just shove anything into my mouth that tastes good, foods that are healthy and others that are probably not so healthy. I just want to gain some muscle mass, if I don't watch my diet is it going to hamper my results? How important is your diet when working out on a weekly basis? (also, I'm probably going to buy some whey protein and start taking it with water before and after I work out) Thanks!

I can't get a credit card, yes i tried the student ones and even department stores all have denied me. I can't even get a cell phone in my own name. I just turned 18 and i just don't know what i can do to get credit and suggestions?? and i also can't get anyone to cosigner for me they either don't want to sacrifice there credit or they have bad credit.

Ok...so I used to work with this guy for about 6 months...we talked and had alot of fun together...so three months later I see him and realize I still like him...I don't know what to do...we haven't really talked since then, I am a really shy person and I don't know how to approach a situation like this, but when I did see him the other day he told me that he wanted me to work there again...how do I approach him?!?!

ok, the consensus seems to be it's ok to place two orders at a drive thru. me, i think it's rude to the person/people in the vehicle behind you. if you want to order twice, i say park your car and go inside. but that's just uptight me. still, now i must ask: is it ok to place three orders? if two's ok, what's the limit?

do you realize in all your infinite wisdom that you actually NEED a livable environment to work in, to make the ALMIGHTY DOLLLLLARRRRRRR and to send your kiddies to school, take vacations to a place that is possibly still beautiful now, have FOOD TO EAT, etc. etc. Hey conservatives, since you go by that name (conservatives), why don't you ACTUALLY CONSERVE SOMETHING FOR ONCE?!?!?! That would be a novel idea. God knows you don't conserve money, a proper education, people's rights according to the Constitution, etc.

I saw a book title in a Christian catalog to do with 3:00 a.m. in the morning. It said "Why do people wake up at 3:00a.m. in the morning?" I was thinking of buying it but I thought what if it is a book not approval to God. I did not buy it. I still think about that question off and on like now. Any body on here know what that is about? OK this is how it started...i got my period a regular one then 2 weeks later i got another period then 1 week later i got another period then another week went by and i got another period just it never stopped. I have been bleeding for about a month straight i made an appointment to see the doctor i missed my appointment by accident then i decided to go to the ER the doctor basicly told me that he wouldnt see me becuse i missed my appointment and how he was to busy to examine me. I cryed in the waiting room he got me a sooner appointment the next day...with the head nurse...she gave me birthcontrol pills to regulate my period...its been over 2 weeks now and im still bleeding heavly and feeling so horable and sick to my stomach the blood is just really red and thin and has not stoped at all or not even slowed down. what should i do? besides make another appointment to see the doctor. ill probly have to wait a whole week!

Many "believers" feel His presence.. I NEVER seem to feel it.. No matter how many times I have prayed, no matter how many hardships I go through..

Sure, my life is "proof" of God, right?

I'm sorry, I try to believe, but I'm left with complete nothing.

Every day I wake up to nothingness.. I'm not a bad person - I have thought I saw my own sign from God, only to be left in the DIRT.

Where is God when I cry? The bible says He'll always be there to comfort you - what abou those who have NEVER ever heard of God?

I'm sick of this sick cycle - I have faith, yet it's not good enough. How can I be happy - searching for love from a God that ignores me?

My life hasn't been easy, it hasn't been worse than most.. But it hurts a lot to have faith, pray, and think you get an answer - false hope - God ignores me. HE doesn't care.
