...ISO Day is a new holiday this year. You don’t get the day off, but celebrating it is easy, fun and everyone is requested to participate.

To participate, all you have to do to is reverse your morning dress order. Simply put your pants on first, then put on your underwear (over the pants – on the outside). For one day a year, we get to “stop the guessing” by co-workers and show our “dirty laundry” to the world. I’m wearing my AC/DC undies with a huge lightning bolt across the front.

GMTV have set up 3 separate compo schemes worth £2.5m for viewers who were scammed into entering competitions they couldn't win. (D.Telegraph today). Apparently Richard and Judy are also paying compo.
So, how do we make a claim for a refund, if we have entered any of these competitons ?

sorry if this offend anyone but im just trying to understand. i have only been to america once but american men. wow they are so kind to women. they do half the cook and clean jobs so nice of them !! (i think its rude to make a man do that) if a woman here ever suggest that to her husband he get angry for even saying it. why do men in america have to do feminine jobs? it is wrong !! i hope you will understand. thank you :)

We're in the hospitality business. Some of our desk agents get a commission for referring customers to a certain rental car company. That company's rep came by and delivered an envelope with two of our employees' names on it. Agent One arrived later but knew she had money coming. She asked Agent Two, who denied having received anything on Agent One's behalf. Agent One grew suspicious and looked through the trash and found an envelope with both their names on it. Furthermore, the rep even confirmed delivery of an envelope with both names on it. Seeing as it's not directly related to company profit, how do I approach Agent Two? The evidence is clear. This goes to credibility and word will get out and no one will ever trust Agent Two.

There was a news story about a cat in a nursing home that accurately predicted over 25 deaths of patients by coming into the patient's room and sitting on the bed next to the patient. Each time the cat did this, the patient died within 4 hours. Now, call me crazy, but wouldn't you think this cat should be evicted? I mean, how horrible would it be to wonder if this cat is going to visit you next EVERYDAY? I say find the cat another home. How about you?

the builders renewing our sewer drains discovered a split storm drain or a drain for a spring...no-one knows , its leaking water constantly, our insurance wont pay up, the water company wont take responisbility and no-one, not even the land registry know of this pipe. does this mean that we have to foot the bill for any repairs/ investigation??? what can we do, we are at a dead end and looking at a big bill :(

You hear people talking about time as the 4th physical dimension and how it slows down based on gravity, etc.

Isn't this inherently flawed? Isn't time constant regardless of how slow things actually move? I mean, if a clock records time passing fast when further away from the Earth doesn't that just mean that the elements used to measure time are moving faster? Time is still constant, things are just happening faster.
