Sounds like a cool idea for a Stephen King movie ! I say the cat has nothing to do with it. Who owns the cat ? Perhaps an evil nurse, or a resident ? hmmmmmmmm.....animals are known to be more perceptive to things humans are not, and cats are very smart creatures ! The cat may "sense" death, but what's happening BEFORE the cat senses it ? Everybody's going to be so busy watching the cat, that it gives somebody even more time to do his or her dirty work.

well as long as none of the patients knew what the cat was doing, it would be okay, at least the people that worked there would know what to expect .... but it might be hard to keep it a secret if it did that to 25 people.
Maybe it wasn't predicting anything. Maybe all of them were just deathly allergic to cats .... hey, it happens, you know.
:O)

It's a well known fact that some animals have a kind of 6th sense when it comes to illness and death.
I say leave it there, at least they know which patients don't need dinner that evening.

The cat was giving dying people some company in their final hours. What's wrong with that. Animals sense when people are dying. I can't believe some of the hysterical replies you have received.

As long as the kitty litter box and the kitty food dish is well away from the patients, no harm done.
Animals can frequently sense certain things humans cannot begin to comprehend.

No. The patients would have died anyway.
