Recently my employer ceased trading ( very unexpectedly & quickly) & this was at a time when I was on sick leave with a broken leg. I received no formal notice from my employer of termination of employment & I finished up going thru ACAS & an Industrial Tribunal. The employer did not bother to attend the tribunal & the Chairman made a number of awards in my favour amounting to approx £1500 covering payment in lieu of notice, unpaid holiday pay, unpaid wages. etc Again after the award was made by the Tribunal I received nothing from the employer & was advised to persue it thru the courts. I applied for the forms which arrived a few days ago but now even before I have applied to the courts an announcement has appeared in the local newspaper that they have become insolvent. Where does that leave me? I've lost loads of money & been without a job for months whilst seeking employment all through no fault of mine..... this all seems so unfair...... what can I do?

Anyone have any experience with this device?
We have a Rottweiler that barks non-stop at a donkey that is in a pasture next to him. It's past the point of annoying...It's become an obsession and it's ridiculous.
We provide him with plenty of exercise, toys and chews galore as well as having another Rott as a companion.
There is no reason, other than obsessive barking that this dog is doing this...
Do these collars work or would I be wasting my $$?

Im travrriving from the UK to New York. I'll be arriving at Newark airport. The only concern im having is getting from the airport to where im staying which will be at the Roosevelt hotel in Manhatten. Building a New Kind of Car ***

Two guys sat down for lunch in the office cafeteria. "Hey, whatever happened to Pete in payroll?" one asked.

"He got this harebrained notion he was going to build a new kind of car," his co-worker replied.

"How was he going to do it?"

"He took an engine from a Pontiac, tires from a Chevy, seats from a Lincoln, hubcaps from a Caddy and, well, you get the idea."

"So what did he end up with?"
"Ten years to life."

Helicopter in Seattle **

A helicopter was flying around above Seattle yesterday when an electrical malfunction disabled all of the aircraft's electronic navigation and communications equipment. Due to the clouds and haze, the pilot could not determine the helicopter's position and course to steer to the airport.

The pilot saw a tall building, flew toward it, circled, drew a handwritten sign, and held it in the helicopter's window. The pilot's sign said, "WHERE AM I?" in large letters.

People in the tall building quickly responded to the aircraft, drew a large sign, and held it in a building window. Their sign said, "YOU ARE IN A HELICOPTER". The pilot smiled, waved, looked at his map, determined the course to steer to SEATAC (Seattle/Tacoma) airport, and landed safely.

After they were on the ground, the co-pilot asked the pilot how the "YOU ARE IN A HELICOPTER" sign helped determine their position. The pilot responded "I knew that had to be the MICROSOFT building because they gave me a technically correct, but completely useless answer."

visited my doctor 5 weeks ago to be examined down below,because something didnt feel right,the doctor said that everything was normal,but it is still worrying me.visited the same doctor again yesterday,for the same reason,once again i was examined he once again still said that everything was ok,he said that the area he examined did feel different to the other side but it was still normal,& once again reasurred me that everything was ok,do you think being checked twice is enough,surely if there was a hint of being something there i would have been sent off to hostpital for a ultrasound scan,do you agree,sensible ansawers only please thanks still worried.
