Student loans and secured credit cards. A secured credit card is a card on which you put the money down up front so the bank isn't at any great risk. Save up and you should be able to get one no problem.

I would STRONGLY recommend that you become familiar with financial guru Dave Ramsey. Here is a link to his website, which of course includes ways to buy his books and other materials:
http://www.daveramsey.com/
Mr. Ramsey was once where you are now, suffering from no credit. THEN he learned all the magical ways to get good, better, and ultimately FABULOUS credit and he used it too. He borrowed and borrowed and borrowed until ... the good financial times stopped and he became a slave to his creditors. At the worst possible time, like when Dave didn't have any money, they wanted their money and would stop at NOTHING to get it! The taunted Dave, his wife, and his kids mercilously, driving them nuts, scaring them, angering them, and humiliating them. Until ... Dave and his family finally had to file bankruptcy.
Then Dave started over, by figuring out what he did wrong. Today Dave is a multi-millionaire and is careful to point out that SOME of those millions have come from his book sales, radio show, website, notoriety, etc., BUT ... the first million came from THE PRINCIPLES that he teaches in his various materials. And you know what? Dave has worse credit than you! If it is possible then Dave probably has a zero for a credit score, because Dave doesn't borrow money for ANYTHING!
Dave explains that in our society people are taught that credit is good, but credit it in reality TERRIBLE! Have I intrigued you even a little bit? If so, go to Dave's website. It'll change your way of thinking about credit and maybe will save you the heartaches and headaches that millions of Americans who now suffer from debt, all because they too sought out good credit, then borrowed against that credit.
BEWARE!

A Credit card for people with bad credit is a form of borrowing that often involves charges. So it's wise to compare terms and fees before you agree to open a credit or charge card account. Try looking for a credit cardwhich credit cards you should apply for? Shop around because not all credit cards for people with bad credit are created equal.

Secured credit cards are a great way to rebuild your credit. Most secured credit card companies require a deposit equal to the credit line your are seeking. Make sure they report your payment monthly to the major credit bureaus. Making your payments on time monthly will increase your credit rating. You will also get you deposit returned to you after one year, turning your secured credit card into a unsecured credit card.

Try going to a credit union and getting advice. It may be that they will loan you a small amount of money and when you pay it back it establishes credit for you.
