I think there are many who would like to believe this, but I don't think that history will remember it this way. Bush will not be remember as the best President, but he also will not be remembered as the worse. History tends to ignore the political sentiment of the day and bases it's judgments on significant events. In the end he will mainly be remember for being the President on 911.
My own personal viewpoint is that Bush has not been the best President and the division in the country is probably the worst as it has been since the civil war. I would like to blame this all on Bush, but I cannot because I have not seen any evidence that the Democrats are willing to work towards unity any more than the Bush administration has in the last eight years. In short, Bush is not the worst President ever and there is plenty of blame to go around for the disharmony we are experiencing as a country.

i agree emphatically! no president in the american history have lied to plunge us into a war that have started Armageddon. carter, may have been a do nothing president, but it would be better to do nothing then to create a situation that have caused, is causing and will cause death and destruction for many, many, many years to come. even when hitler started a war, at least it could be and WAS ended...but how do you end a war with people who are willing to kill themselves for what they believe in????? how do you end terrorism when we don't KNOW who the terrorist are???? HOW CAN ONE POSSIBLY DOUBT THAT BUSH IS THE WORST PRESIDENT SINCE THE BEGINNING OF AMERICAN HISTORY AND PROBABLY THE WORST person, SINCE THE BEGINNING OF TIME!?
who in their right mind will not listen to the people that is suppose to be HIS BOSS; who except someone who is heartless and soulless, will continue something that is destroying our country and causing other countries to hate us? PEOPLE ARE BEGGING him to stop this illegal war, who but someone who is evil get so much enjoyment out of bring our country down? Such as ef'ing with the best constitution in the world.....OURS!!! SPENDING MONEY IN AN ILLEGAL WAR THAT COULD BE USED FOR PEOPLE HERE IN THE GOOD OLD USA. A BILLION A WEEK!!!! How much medicine can that buy, how many foreclosures can that bring to a halt? WHY DON'T HE CONCENTRATE ON STOPPING THE OUTSOURCING OF JOBS? Housing the homeless, WHICH IS A DISGRACE IN A COUNTRY SO AFFLUENT.
IF anyone says the peanut farmer, CARTER WAS SUCH A BAD President, HOWEVER BAD HE WAS....NO WAY CAN HE COMPARE WITH BUSH. Republicans HATE to hear it, but check your history and you will see THE SIMILARITIES OF BUSH AND HITLER also you will see the ties between Bush's family and Hitler.
IT IS TIME AMERICA ADMIT THAT PUTTING BUSH IN WAS THE BIGGEST MISTAKE "EVER!!"
Being wrong is not so bad as being wrong and not believing or admitting you are wrong!

I'd have to say the guy who died in like 6 days still holds that distinction...but it's nice to see the entertainment community putting those high school civics lessons to good work.
Who the hockey sticks is Rory Emerald and why do we need to care what he or she thinks?
If that's how Babs wants to play it, I'm sure W would have no qualms with declaring Funny Girl the worst movie ever.

Well, the truth be told that is an unfair question. Well, people's opinion of who was the worst or best is really determined by their own values those with liberal socialist agenda mindset set up a shrine and worship at bill clinton's feet. Those who have conservative values recognize the common values shared and they form their opinion accordingly
So, for me whats some old vegas "lounge singer" got any weight as to what matters in proper assessing of a Presidents performance?!
