I have a poster that I love! I even had it laminated. I want to put in on the inside of my locker in my dorm. The problem is my room mate is afraid of clowns and her lockers right next to mine.

The poster is of the Joker. In the picture he looks psychotic. I love the poster and don't want to leave it behind. Should I be nice and not torment my room mate, even though she torments me with her choice of music. Or should I say screw it and put up the poster???

My four year old son is meant to enrol for Junior school in September but as he was born after 28th February 2003 he is only allowed to start part time (Monday - Friday 9-12) I have changed my working hours to coincide with full time school hours 9-3 and work quite far from the school. I have the option of starting him in January but worry that keeping him in Nursery until January is the wrong decision as he has recently started behaving badly there, what should I do??

Hi my husband and i have been living in our house for 10+ years. We have just recently found out that our shed has been on our neighbors property by an inch. We found out by her suddenly suing us for 10,000 dollars. We tried to buy the inch off of her but she wont sell it. I mean the shed it only about 10 by 10 feet. Also, she said if we pay for a survey and move the shed she would call off the lawsuit. We did but she continued to sue. What should we do?

I'm 23 and I have almost never had male friends. I have had a lot of issues with dating in the past and I think if I had male friends I could relate better to guys I date.

My problem is that I often feel like males are insensitive and will casually say things that they KNOW will hurt your feelings. (Admittedly, I am a fairly sensitive person but still.) Also, I don't understand how guys think at all and I usually get really frustrated...if I'm just friends with them, if I'm dating them, whatever.

What can I do to get past my issues with guys and be friends with them?

My friend's daughter, "Jodi," is six years old and all the way a "girly" girl. Her grandmother, "Nani," watches her during the day while my friend is at work. Recently, my friend witnessed Jodi blatantly disregarding what her Nani asked her to do, kicking and screaming all the way. She also yells at her Nani and tells her how she doesn't have to obey anything she says. This is really hurting my friend's feelings because she raised her kids well, and she can't understand why her otherwise well-behaved daughter is treating her mother so very badly.

Any ideas? Similar situations? Any help would be appreciated.

I have decided that I want to be a lawyer when I grow up. I tried researching the different types of lawyers, but I'm still not sure what the difference between some is. I am interested in the type of lawyer that defends either a criminal or the person or state accusing someone of a crime.

Please someone tell me the difference between prosecuters, civil lawyers, and criminal lawyers, what they do, and maybe even salaries.

My sister was sexually harassed by a coworker. He did things like ask her to tell him sex stories and kissed her on the cheek and neck. They are independent contractors, meaning they are kind of self-employed. They have one boss, but no Human Resources Department. I never do that and it seems like this one person that I've known for a long time don't have a problem asking anyone. He asked me to borrow 30 bucks so he could have the rest of his money for the check cashing place and when he got back he'd pay me back. Well, he came back and said they wouldn't accept his cashier's check and I'd have to wait till tomorrow afternoon. I never ask to borrow money and I just can't understand people who don't mind going around begging everyone for it.

I know that some people on The Hill have already proclaimed that our efforts in Iraq have failed, but why do Democrats (and Liberals) want us to lose the war? Last time I checked, surrendering was just another word for defeat.

Isn't it scary to you that the Left wants our troops to lose so that the Democrats can make political gain? Believe it or not, no one enjoys war. Everyone would love to have our boys home. And please, spare us the argument that we shouldn't have gone to Iraq in the first place. We're there now, so until we invent a time machine, please refrain from those comments.
